Welcome to the club fellow TIger Cats fan!

@tacoma16 with out increase in numbers, next meet and greet will have to be in Hamilton

larger gravity or something like that, what is this now. 7 or 8 people?

location would probably be the "sketchy-ass parking lot" in front of Limeridge mall.
if you know - then you know

Eco-ATF looks to be another low-viscosity fluid similar to Valvoline Max-Life. It even touts Toyota WS compatibility: https://www.eneos.us/product/eneos-eco-atf-plus/ There's a good chance it'll leak.

Upon rack removal today it was concluded through my scientific ass research that the leak was caused by rusted rack that damaged seals and ATF wasn't at fault... As a matter of fact viscosity of ATF isn't going to hurt and actually improve and reduce steering fade unless you already having rack going bad and rust grown on rack scratching seals though. Check your boots regularly and make sure no water inside of them.

you can kinda see rust here, it's all over the rack. I'll have more pictures later.

This rack only lasted 50K since the last replacement by Toyota for general information.

So 250K life expectancy if you aren't dunking your truck every weekend? :p

At least this looks like something that can be mitigated if caught early enough - sand and polish the rust down.

Pretty much, look at @tacoma16 and him still running original rack, the only thing that still doesn't leak and truck always stays at malls and takes only dirt roads, so 250K is a safe bet here :p:D

But then we got mystical @Joe23 and his rack is pissing just from hitting curbs at the malls.

    So I would say it's a gamble here:censored:

I expect this one to last me 2-3 years and by the time it fails it's either going to be replaced with alternative/better solution or completely rebuild.

My OEM rack is going to be for sale if anyone wants to rebuild original rack and keep as a spare.

    Thanks man, appreciate it

Thanks for the tips man! I recall reading that a few weeks back when I started creeping the tread , is the TEC membership only good for the purchase year like OF4WD?

Cheers man! Looking forward to joining the ranks and getting the chance to meet you guys :mudding:

OF4WD has a $100 fee for a group membership - this is a one off cost per year for the entire group. On top of the $100 fee for the group, OF4WD charges normally $50 but with a coupon code, that we get as a group, it is reduced to $25 per person.
the TEC membership (which is $10) goes in tandem with the OF4WD membership, where that $10 goes towards the $100 group fee (at least this is how i understand it, correct me if i'm wrong please)

Basically the benefit of the TEC membership is that it makes the OF4WD one membership cheaper by a few bucks for just joining a group.
at some point where that $100 fee is covered and extra money comes in, it goes into equipment for the trail maintenance that we do (clearing trails of fallen trees in the spring and making sure it's clear for the snowmobile guys in the fall, also garbage bags and what not)

A big thanks to the gentleman at the last who told me not to waste my money on gap guards.

Made a Tempate and then made some guards.

    Thank you for the advise.

regardless of the body lift, it'll be a nice addition to the collection of that thread. that way those *with* body lifts can also use your template

Yes this is the way. Don't spend $145 + $55 FedEx brokerage on GearTech Customs splash guards like I did. :bananadead:

What rubber mat material did you use?
