Roger that.... Thanks for the clarification
I actually ordered new bolts to install with, (I am pretty sure my Stealership) used my 12 year old bolts when they did my frame swap 2 summers back. So for $10 each... it was a no brainer IMO. I plan to just cut the bolts carefully, because it does look like a hassle to take them out into the engine compartment.... Probably was super easy to just drop the cab onto the frame at the shop...

What did a filthy buzzard do to my Tacoma today? Well...this

At first I thought the damage would be limited to the grille and headlight assembly. Unfortunately, after digging the carcass out, it became apparent that the radiator core support is bent and the hood does not align with the fender. Looks a insurance claim is in my future. Filthy buzzard.

That's not a bad thing brother. It still happens in IL/MO where I am, but it's becoming less and less.

Brave man spreading it out in the road like that. Some places they'd swerve TO hit it lol.

    Nice rig.
sorry to see that. How did you get up so high to hit the buzzard? My dad hit one that his wingspan covered the whole windshield with blood and feathers everywhere.

My wife was driving my truck while I was out of town. As she tells it, she was on a country road (75mph speed limit) came over a rise, and there were several buzzards in the road chowing on roadkill. Evidently, this was the slowest of the group. She couldn't swerve due to oncoming traffic. Hitting the buzzard seems to be the right choice, all things considered.

better to hit the bird than swerve and be in an accident. Glad she is ok. Easy fix on considering what could of happened.

No doubt. She had our kids and my aunt in the truck with her. Counting our blessings, for sure.

Finally did my leaky head gasket. Anyone know what this is called?

It’s located on the passenger side attached to small pipes that go to each header. It was a Pain since it is mounted to the valve cover
