Sorry, I am fairly new here and this is my first time buying and installing a dashcam

I just picked up a Blackvue DR750S Dashcam for my ride. I bought it with the Blackvue Power Magic Pro to use the parking mode feature.

I guess I need some direction on the best way to hardwire the unit. I am seeing a lot of people going the add-a-fuse route and tapping into aux power.

Anyone know which size fuse (low pro, mini, ATO) is needed? Also where exactly is the fuse box located in the driver's side?

I have the power magic EZ. Does the same thing but just plugs into the OBDII port. Any reason you don't want to use that?

I ended up splicing mine into my radio T-harness. I was adding speakers the same day as my dash cam install so I just spliced into 12v constant, switch, and ground behind the radio instead. It’s a pretty easy shot to run a fish from either A-pillar.

If not, the fuse panel is below the dash. Pop your head in and look up, it’s kinda near the brake pedal.

No i have the Power Magic Pro https://www.blackboxmycar.com/produ...gqcSIRb4rc0X2Zrp-77_lgD8Ppgrgt3RoC9GsQAvD_BwE

it has red (ACC+) and yellow (BATT+) wires for power ( I am assuming), a ground wire and then a socket for your 12v connector

thanks for the heads up, I found it.

PmP using Mini addafuse. Interior panel is above your left foot. I tapped Haz for constant and Acc for switched..
Works for me, just a heads up having the Pmp set at 12.0v usually lasts me all night for my DR590w-2CH in parking mode.

I shut down my Pmp during the winter below 0C.
-snow covered windows don't show anything,
-snow on the ground let's me know if anyone is around,
-won't take the crappy OEM battery down to 12.0v.
