I finally got got for no state inspection. I was an idiot though and drove Betty white on base. So I have to go get it inspected and go to navy “court” next Friday to show proof of inspection. Lame.

No. And even if I got this ticket out in town there’s no points added.

Yeah. They're pretty worthless. About all they can do is suspend your driving privileges on base if you get enough of them.

 

I used to work security on that base for a year back in 2013, so when he pulled me over I was like “I really hope I know this guy.”

You got plates, rear plate light, nothing janky about it, only thing I know of would be tailpipe cut off ahead of rear axle...but I figure you can make that fix in your sleep.

 

I removed my softopper just for that, since that was a topic of discussion earlier for trucks with caps. I have a recommended shop I’m going to in the morning.

Unless I get some anal inspector like you first had I should be ok. All my lights work as they should, no lights on my dash, no auxiliary lights, front license plate, horn works, no leaky fluids, etc.

 

Shit I apparently haven't played catch-up today!

Truck handled great on the interstate and back roads coming back from the inlaws. While cruising down 295 hitting potholes that used to register as potholes, now felt like mear hiccups...the whoop and corrugation on the paved back road stretch near the house was unrecognizable (in a good way!).
