It's a lesser known Taco mod...for those with the most discerning taste.

Replaced my 5 year old, 145k mile battery today. While I was at it, I upgraded the terminals. Toyota sure don't leave a lot of slack on that main positive wire do they? Damn. It will work for now, but I think I'll extend it soon...I'm not a huge fan of how tight it is.

Speaking of that, does anyone know offhand what gauge wire the main wire is? (I assume the biggest one is the "main" one...at any rate, it's the biggest one)

After I was done, I started it up and it immediately died, which I expected. Second start was fine.

About 2 hours and 3 starts later, I was going through a drivethru and couldn't turn down the radio...by steering wheel controls on onboard radio controls. Come to find out I couldn't control the radio at all...station change, volume, power...nothing. I shut the truck off, then restarted and everything was fine.

Hadn't heard of that problem before so just a heads up...I'm assuming it had something to do with changing the battery.

No doubt about that. He'll find a buyer easy.

When I bought my 15....in Feb of 17, it had 11K on it. As of now, 11K is just a fond memory. In the last 3 years and 5 months, I've put another 134K on it lol.

I got it from Artemis. They quoted $230 for everything including the walls then messaged me later charging an extra $100. Paid $330 in shipping, took 4 weeks, and still waiting on the LST walls.

If the nut ever loosens up and comes off, you're going to wish you had the bolt installed like it was from the factory.
