    The golden recipe would be:
2.5x14" Short Body (Custom order only, I asked them on instagram and they said they would make it.)
    Welded Lower Rod End
Remote Reservoir (specify Archive towers so that they know how to orientate the fittings.)
As far as hose length goes, you'll have to burn in some mounts for the reservoirs so as long as the hose is long enough to make a 90 degree turn around whatever bump stop solution you have you're good. I used camburg dual clamp mounts: https://camburg.com/shop/fabrication/camburg-universal-4130-mounts/

The rest is up to you as far as the comp adjusters and valving.

So regarding limit strap length, I measured on my truck, with 12" extended on the shock, it looks like an 18" strap bolt to bolt would be about right. This is with the axle limit tabs pointing off back side of axle, almost touching the hard brake lines, maybe about 30° up from horizontal.

Right now, I recommend anyone with the limit tabs to see how they fit on the axle, and measure for your setup. Read quoted post for more info

~16" hose length should be good, which is Fox standard length for smoothy. King has a 14" I believe and it can be too short

would the welded rod end still be necessary with the short body?

There we go lol. I had no idea what the hose length should be. With my bypasses I have a 90 degree fitting pointing upward for the remote reservoir and the hose just makes a turn around the airbumps. I think the smooth body shocks have the fitting at the top.

It’s less necessary on the smooth body shock, since with a bypass you have to be mindful of where ride height is for tube positioning. But personally, I would still order it. For reference my bypasses are full body 14” and as you can see they stick down a good distance below the frame. The main benefit for you ordering the welded rod end will be ground clearance, as it will allow you to angle the axle tab higher. If I was to do it over again, I would have ordered a short body 14 if I had known it existed. Disregard the shitty Dakar springs, those are gone now.

Bigger tires say 35's require longer spacers

Curious if anybody messes with their compression adjusters on their King's or not. It looks to be about a $350 difference from Accutune. I'd like to think I would firm it up when I'm driving and then when I venture off road would soften it back down.

Most likely if you get adjusters you will get them how you like them and never mess with them again. If you are buying from accutune you can just give them numbers to properly valve then to your truck like you pay for.

It's how you use the truck. I have rear Fox with DSC and I don't adjust them much because I don't vary the load, its usually at stock weight.

But, one time I was testing with 1,400 lbs, and I cranked them up and I was impressed and happy with the big difference it made in load handling, the truck stopped moving up and down too much, super controlled, really effective.

So adjusters are great for towing, Overland rigs and adjusting from daily driver to desert road.
Being able to adjust while on an "expedition" is nice.

I adjust my fronts, but the rear is the same setting as king, filthy motorsports sent them to me. If I was to be completely honest, I thought the king adjusters just looked so much better. Spending that much money, my wife just shook her head and said just do it. Cant argue with her. I did it for her. Lol.

This ^^. I usually drive around with them fully open, but when I am in work truck mode or go fast off road mode I crank them up and they work great

@ARCHIVE do prerunners need to add a slip yoke to their driveshaft with your SUA kit?

I don't know for sure but I believe that is required
I know at full droop the slip joint on my DCSB was fully collapsed when I had SUA springs in there. The high arch of SUA springs causes the axle to move significantly farther forward and aft than an SOA pack

Anyone have insight as to how much longer over stock brake lines I need for a 14" shock. How did the 8" over stock work out?

+6" would be a good length. I have +5" and they work great, but a little extra slack wouldn't hurt anything.
