    Avg price is between $1000 and $1500. But there are going to be higher or lower ones too. Ive seen them as high at $2200 and as low as $150

    I gotta agree there. I have ran the 6112s for the last year and I do feel like they are harsh even over the smallest stuff. They do better at higher speeds. But not better enough to warrant the hype. If I could go back. I would have went a different route

    2017, 15k miles. They had broken the threaded part where the nut goes on one of the rears. Cost me $180 to get it rebuilt. Im going to send them all off to be rebuilt when I hit 50k on my truck (I have 15k now)

    255/85r16 ST Maxx 6112/5160 w/ Dakar RCI armor, sliders, and rear bumper CBI hidden winch mount w/ Smity 20k

    I have 6112s and they are MUCH better that the stock OR shocks. I don't feel like they are overly harsh. There is a really washboarded section of road by me that would previously cause the bed to kick out. It's a lot better, and I can obviously still feel it, but my tires stay on the road now. It's the only other suspension that I have run on the Tacoma, so I can't compare to anything else. My 4runner is a lot softer over bumps, but it has a ton of body roll and nose dive. I think I will try the Eibach kit on it.

    I keep hearing people talking about less brake dive after upgrading their suspension. Why is that seen as significant? Even if I expected my truck to handle like a sports car, I’ve never noticed any amount of brake dive that concerned me. Also, if you look at how most dedicated off road vehicles (dirt bike, utv, trophy truck, etc) handle, they have a ton of brake dive.

    After upgrading your truck to an off road suspension, I think I better way to test your investment is to drive it over curb at 10-15 mph, a speed bump at 30-40, a whoop at speed (pick your poison), down a wash board road at 80 mph, or other such things that will work those shock absorbers. Hitting your brakes and measuring the downward deflection of your hood doesn’t cut it in my book. YMMV

    Some Mods
    I would suggest you keep yours for simplicity of install and also age/condition since I see you have a 2020. Installing UCAs can be a hassle and should be avoided if it’s not needed (in my opinion of course).

    look for any signs of leaks on the shocks, if you don’t see any, then I don’t have any other input on what to look for.

    The trd offroad and the pro rear strut bushing are the same along with all the mounting bolts. So if the pro rear bushings are cracked and old, or the mounting bolts are crusty, you can use your trd offroad parts.

    3rd Gen and 2nd Gen Tacoma suspension is compatible. I’m fairly confident 2019 4Runner suspension will NOT fit a 2015.
