Actually I think it’s great tackling stuff and learning. I applaud you! I wish I had half the mods you have done. Keep it up and post pics!
I do look forward to the running commentary for the ditch lights. Don’t let us down! :D

@fathomblue , Nothing to feel embarrassed about. I kinda feel sorry for all these X Y Z generations that never experienced the 60's or 70's. In my humble opinion, the 1970's were the best 10 years of my life. Turned 13 in 1970, graduated high school in 1975. Yeah we did a lot of shit back then that most people would frown on today, but I could really care less. I think the Vietnam War was really, the dark cloud of the 60's and 70's, and by the wars end it was very unpopular. Saigon fell in the spring of 1975, so I didn't see any need to join any branch of the military at the time. After all I was 18 and a "know it all", when in reality, I didn't know shit. Looking back now, I wish that I'd have done at least one tour of duty in one of the branches, but that's water under the bridge now. That photo of me was right before my Dad informed us we were moving back to RED NECK TOWN USA. My best friends Parents begged my Dad to let me stay in Conroe and Graduate with all my friends, but he was a hard ass and refused to let it happen. So he took us down to the Barber and had it all cut off, and I was pissed as hell. First day of school my senior year, me and about 30 others got a 3 day pass because our hair touched our ears. Weirdest part of this story, is the High School we went back to was the one I attended my freshman year, and half my sophomore year. The only redeeming part is we already knew everyone in town. Edna Texas, population about 3500, and they rolled the sidewalks up every day at 5:30 sharp.

Those little Toyota's would haul ass. I had a friend that owned either a 74 or 75 ST or GT, really can't remember, but man that car would fly. He used to scare the shit out of me in it. Me, I had a 1974 honda civic, with a measly 55 hp engine, top speed about 85-90 mph, but it got 30mpg on the highway and mid 20's just riding around. My dad made a $500 dollar down payment, and I took up the $84.00 a month payments in June 1957 when I went to work full time. Really like the car though. I had the only one for about 300 square miles at the time.

He was on part 1 or part 2. This is part 3 of a master poll.
