I don't have the paint peeling issue, but it will fade if you look at it wrong. My roof, hood, and fenders are now base coat/clearcoat after a hail damage repair, so less to do now. I just have to stay on top of keeping a sealant on it.

My '15 is 5+ years old. I wax it once a year...usually in the fall. No issues at all.

Only at night. It sits outside at work 12 hours a day....5-6 days a week

 

Your truck has been well taken care of, the second owner of my truck did nothing but oil changes... The paint was super dry even with an initial polish. On neglected single stage finishes you sometimes have to go oldschool and wipedown with something like Meg's #7 to put some life back in it.

 

I bought it new with about 10 miles on it. I do take care of it. But I don't obsess about it. Every couple of weeks I clean it up inside and out. And in the fall, when weather cools down some, I throw on some wax. That's it. Nothing else as far as cosmetics go.

I am, however, quite the stickler for routine/preventive maintenance. In that respect....it doesn't get any better than my rig.

 

Just ordered these LED fogs for the wife’s Corolla. Probably more like DRLs....though they were marketed as fogs. Either way....we'll see how they look once installed.

I have just finished full inside out detail job on Bertha 7 hours of goood exercise! I love when she looks like new!
