This weekend is the Stl Tacoma owners group meetup. We will be meeting at Diode Dynamics parking lot around noon.

Hope to see a lot of the locals there!

What offset are your wheels? The Kendas look very interesting and I'm trying to figure out if I could get away with a -6mm offset without having frame or uca rub issues.

That I don’t know lol. I get that question a lot. I’m gonna have to look at the wheels next time I have them off.

I got them used a while back and never checked the offset.

once I do I’ll post and let ya know

Whipped up some mud flaps and mounted the reverse camera in the tailgate. Gonna make a “hood” for the top of the camera so it doesn’t get damaged.

The flaps are made to be “quick release” so pull the pin and pull the flaps off.

Not done yet but you get the idea

I originally wanted to do a real flat bed but didn’t want to have to change it up/ cut fenders into when I go solid axle and larger tires. This was my shot at something that is strong, will be able to bolt everything on and not have to worry about denting it up every time I go out.

    Thanks! Appreciate it

Yeah unless you notch the floor, fitting anything beyond 33's or lifting the truck way high is going to be tough with a flatbed. I don't want to go too tall mainly because I still want to be able to access the stuff in the bed easier and my truck being a 2.7 is already weezing at highway speeds hah

That was my problem off the bat, already on 35s and I didn’t want the bed like 8-10” higher than the tires. Just wouldn’t look right lol

Sounds like aluminum would be a good material for yours to save weight!

Not to derail your thread but yeah, thats been my build philosophy with my truck. Keep the weight nice and low! Make it simple to repair if need be!

How's the ride with the kendras? I like that they're narrow, but they're D range and a little heavy, compared to like MTRs (which you can get in C range).

They are actually great. It must pair well with the 6112s. I have no problems with them being heavier other than to get them to bulge, you have to have them really aired down. The sidewalls are very thick in these. 8psi and it doesn’t even look like I aired down lol.

I love climbs like this. You guys out west get all the cool stuff. We get 1 or two of these in each of our parks.

Next month I’m gonna hit a spot I’ve got a Cherokee on fire at, we’ll see how the tacoma does lol

Added a crossbar on the bed today. Not sure what I want to add to it yet, that’s why there is no center supports.
