Just started having this issue in the video this morning. Any ideas what it could be? Just bad battery? 19 TRDOR w/ 13k miles. Thanks

Battery. Seems like it should be under warranty.

Check you terminals on the battery. Same thing happened to me around 10k KM and i wiggle the terminals and it was fine and has been for 6k KM. Your battery shouldn't be dying this quick.

So ended up having to stop by auto zone and grab a new battery because it would not start up again. Called the dealership but they said I couldn’t be reimbursed under warranty because I didn’t bring it to them. Does this sound right?
    Lessons learned if so.

Doesn’t sound right, I recall stories here about people getting reimbursed for battery replacement outside of the dealership.

Dealership is dumbass. (Depends on how many miles on your truck. If it is over 25k, then your TC is finished.) You have 2 years Toyota Care included when you bought a new truck unless you rejected the TC offer. Dealer should have your truck towed to the service dept.

You have any led lights mods on your truck such as lightbar, pods, etc? If so, it could be the problem due led wire problem like mine did.

Anyway, you should have take the positive clamp off and put it back and tighten it up. Try to start. I have had that problem and I took the wires and positive clamp off and place it back. It works.

My truck did the same about 6 months ago, had battery checked and had 12. something volts but no amperage... New battery and no problems since. Call Toyota Corporate and they will tell you where to send the receipt for reimbursement. Dealer was wrong to tell you that. Oh, and my truck sounded identical to yours in the video.

The dealership won't reimburse you but if you look in the Owners Manual it will give you an address to mail the receipt to and Toyota will reimburse you.
