yup it is every time... I thought about the option but like it this way... it does grab the attention of the "lane wanderers" LOL

This work by relay... the current that normally would have supplied to the stock horn now triggers a Relay (electromagnetic switch) that is hooked up to the battery and supplies the current to the horns. My relay is rated at 40A but should pull only about 24 if I remember the 6A rating on the horns correctly. It's a generally proffered method to running all current through a switch...

You are making me look bad ... I will be lucky to get to 20 MPG. Side note: It is kind of amazing that the Tacoma can't get better mileage after all of this time.

I range from 22 to 25 MPG but I drive like a grandma.... I also noticed my MPG jumped from 18-19 to 23ish after it broke in (about 5k mile) AND also probably due to the better gas in the summer....

Absolutely love em. Super spendy but worth it in my opinion. Only other bulbs as bright i know of are VLED Trion bulb but those require you to drill out the hole and use an adapter to keep em in

Cool, thanks for replying so quickly! I'm going to get the 921s, don't really see the need to for drilling and adapter installing.

When I installed the MESO Gasshole, I used vise grips to break the screw loose and being very careful not to bend or twist the door.

Last week a fellow TW member helped me replace the stock sport struts with new Bilstein 5100's, set on the 2nd notch ("level"). Kept the stock springs. The difference in ride quality on the way home was noticeably better/improved. I'm loving the 5100's. I'm not sure how best to describe the difference other than the truck feels much more planted and solid now. Bumpy roads no longer rattle the truck around like a tin can. The next day I had my local shop replace the stock tires with some Falken Wildpeaks (265/70/17) + Alignment. Very pleased with the outcome. Drawing on saved photos, below is the best before/after I can find.

Top: before with stock struts/tires. Bottom: after with 5100's and Wildpeaks.

Yesterday I finally found time to wash the truck and mount a Sears cargo carrier to the Mobtown bars for an upcoming trip.

I used a large #2 Phillips square shank screwdriver. Used a pair of vise grip pliers on the shank to get it to loosen up. It has thread locker on the screw. Go easy so you do not bend you gas door.

So my beautiful bronze F5s got damaged at a carwash :( Impossible to find touch up that matched. I decided to get them powder coated matte black so next time they will be easier to touch up. Getting them put back on tomorrow. 20200727_160931.jpg
