I placed it inside the cabin and is actually perfect for daily driving. Due to the wide angle, it completely removes the blind spots and actually mimics the rear view to near perfection. You can see the different views one can play with. Front, rear, front/rear, completely off.

If you have the 1st gen supercharger you can
use the casting screw hole in back,
I used a glowshift dual temperature gauge that gives you both temperatures before and after for the supercharger and put it in the clock location

This looks like an excellent idea! I have been thinking about this for a while just can't decide what model is best. What model did you purchase and how do you like it so far?

I just don't even have space for shit anymore in the bay. It's tight in there if you have ABS and the evap shit up front.

Did you do this because big tires ride better? :crapstorm:

Been trying to wrap this up before the baby comes. These clamps are awesome but for pieces like this, it's very easy to tack the clamp accidentally.

Yeah this looks like a good solution. Do you have a link to this model?
Does the mirror mount over the stock mirror or replace it entirely?

There is a ton of them on Amazon. The usual clones ranging in price from $70-$150 with obscure brand names.

Yeah it’s hard to know which ones are decent and which are crap without some direct feedback.
It seems like they’re all “clones”, but clones of what? Are there any good name brands that offer a full-time camera system?

On the Passenger side on the aft side, you might think about drilling an additional hole for the light if you decide to add a dorkel to your truck...

So, another question. Are these like the energy suspension (no outer sleeve), but just a different bushing material (that might last longer)?

I've done a mod or two
They are and they aren't. The ES ones use the stock bushing sleeve. These ones just use the arm bit that the sleeve presses into

They are Poly like the ES. But like Zane said, you just push them in. Only one metal sleeve on the inside.

Just like my LT kit or my Solo LCAs. Or like any aftermarket UCA nearly.

Which dorkle is that? Something I do plan on doing eventually but low on the list with my current ghetto snorkel.

Came with the truck from the prior owner - Safari Snorkel.
He also did the deck plate mod but somehow lost the plate.
So when I bought it in 2013, there was no jack, no spare tire, no skid plates, no deck plate plate, but lots of dog hair and lots of teeth marks in the seat belt female base mounts.

Interesting so I guess I'll have the same issue if I get that knock off snorkel too. Guess I'll deal with that when the time comes lol

And that sucks about the previous owner. Though I guess if anyone bought my truck now they would probably be like what the fuck was this guy thinking.

Ahh, I see. You reuse the sleeves on the ES ones. Boy, that sounds terrible.

I gotta get at this. Planning to run 36x15.5 MTZ's for snow season. Body mount chop is done on mine already, did it when I swapped the double cab on. I'll get at it this fall. Yours looks good.
