Snap on partnered with Traxxas and there was a body like the snap on truck for the xmaxx that I always thought was the coolest thing

It was also like 4-5 hundred bucks more just for that body. Well, sort of. Some of the suspension parts were red.

Question, I never owned a rc truck before and my friend talked me into getting a trx4 blazer. Waiting on it to get here, and wondering if there are any Toyota bodies (4Runner or Tacoma ) that will fit on it. I plan on using it with the blazer body but would like to know my options for the future. A quick google search turned into a bunch of confusion so figured I would ask you guys. Thanks

Lots of options, old hilux and 4 runner hard plastic from rc4wd, 1st Gen Tacoma from rc4wd, 3d bodies by Lou, etc. Depends what you are looking for. Proline has an SR5 and a 4runner as well

Well they may need smaller tires or longer or short links. You want a 12.3 inch wheelbase is the key if you don't want to change lots of stuff. Trimming fenders is something not to fear.....

Started the day with a thunderstorm and lots of rain as well as some fooling around trying to get the plane to work properly.

But we got the servos fixed and the weather let up so we went flying, it was my first time flying in over a year, probably closer to 2 years but I had fun.

Spent an hour cruising around the yard today. Getting some ideas for the crawler course.

Where do you guys buy your tires from? I need to get another tire for my short course truck but I’m looking for an A/T type tire since I run on grass and pavement.
This is what the truck currently has, it’s a 2.2/3.0

Proline is my go to. I have tried pitbull for crawler tires and I have a set of duratrax on a rustler too. The pitbull are fine but a bit pricier. The duratrax are a disappointment on anything other than pavement. other models may be different as they do well on the surface they are meant for.

Do you particularly want the staggered side wall? I made up a cheap set of 2.2 RPM Revolver wheels and put some cheap 2.2 chinese Hyrax tires on them for my 2wd Stampede. They fit my SC10 decently. Have a little sidewall roll when cornering but did OK.

Thanks for the info! I’ll check them out.

Not necessarily, I really don’t have very much area to run it other than pavement and grass so as long as it functions I don’t necessarily care that much about them.

These look pretty good to me :notsure:

Anyone know where I can find a new Traxxas Unlimited desert racer preferably blue and black? Seems everyone is out of all colors. :hattip:

I ended up combining the front from a Axial Honcho with the bed from the Proline SR5.

Pretty much anything that'll fit your wheel would likely suffice for bashing about the yard and street. This place can have some gems every now and then. I rebuilt my sc10 with parts from here once. Lately it's been a crap shoot as to what they may have after Traxxas tightened down on parts costs.

    They have some 2.2/3.0 pins.
