They are covering all manufacturer recommended maintenance for 36 months. I did not even ask for it. I think that comes standard with lease.

Well they took the truck in, gave me a ride home, then called me and said they aren't going to do the recall cause it only applies to trucks on the east coast. In the recall it says cold weather climates, so I think they might just be giving me the run around, but it's one of the only dealers I trust out here. I think I'm going to just do a fluid film coating myself.

To OP, why do you think it’s called a depreciating asset? It doesn’t matter it’s getting worth less as we speak. People that lease cars and rent houses are fools. Lower your expectations, live in an RV or trailer until you can buy some land and build a house. Pay for it up front. Leases and renters build no equity and in the end have nothing but a pile of receipts. Dave’s advice is pay cash and use things till they are worn out. Get two or three jobs to pay for your lifestyle. Eat beans and rice, pay cash, do not borrow do not pay interest. You need to realize what you want and what you can afford are two different things. Here’s a shocker, when you get older you won’t be able to work hard and your priorities will shift into reality not waxing and obsessing over a vehicle you can’t afford. Dude snap out of it.

complete BS take a look at Autotrader and look at low mileage examples I looked at a 2015 with 8 thousand miles on it last week. Is it unusual yes but they are out there and the guy that bought it new and never drove took a huge financial hit. I like buying used from guys like this and I pay cash LOL

They sent it to my family’s house in MA, so guessing they would have done it all if the truck were there. Apparently Colorado doesn’t count as a cold weather climate  they said they still did the inspection and it looks great but that they wont apply CRC cause I’m not in one of the states listed.

Another thought, if you are unsure about buying it after the lease because you have X years and X amount already into it, why not call the leasing company and buy it today? Eliminate some time.

    None, yet

Lmfbo. You must think you're important. It's 100% real my friend. Choose to believe or not, it makes zero difference to me. I shopped for over 2 months contacting every dealer in a 500 mile radius. I know how to buy vehicles.

Mileage and year are really not that important as how the car was treated, used, garaged etc.

I have seen 2019 with super low milage after major paint fix due to hail. I also have seen many after major flooding.
I do not really like buying used cars...

i bought my new 2019 trd offroad in late april 2019 for $36k out the door!

If you could find that deal out there like i did, it may be worth the extra 6k for brand new versus a few years older one with 30k miles. that's your call of course.

something to think about...personally, i'd prolly opt for the new 36k one- it will have lots more options- probably- and will be starting at near 0 miles for warranty purposes.
