Will Tacoma Suspension fit on 89 Pickup?

    I was wondering if anyone had experience with suspension components on the 89 pickups? I’ve looked around the web and gotten mixed answers. I have a 2020 Tacoma TRD O/R and an 89 pickup. I took the Bilstein suspension of the Tacoma and put a Toytec Boss kit on it. So now I have the Bilsteins laying around unused. Thought of selling them, but then I thought of possibly putting them on the 89. The 89 currently has an OME kit on it, but the components are very rusted so I was wondering if swapping them out with the bilsteins would be feasible. Any help would be appreciated.

    310,000 and counting
    Sell the Bilsteins...... those two trucks are 30 years apart and pretty sure they won’t work. The 89 has torsion bars and the mounts are totally different.

    That’s what I suspected. My 89 is away right now, otherwise I would’ve climbed under it and deduced that myself but I appreciate it.
