From everything I’ve read and the comments from eric I chose deavers as well...and they just showed up on Saturday...can’t wait to get them on. I will more than likely install the cross tube as well in the near future too.

To restate my priorities, it's to provide expedition level offerings with no issues, perfect fit, built for longevity in severe duty conditions, something you can trust if you are driving from Alaska to Argentina. My first test version (HD) achieved 12" shock travel with Hh despite zero maintenance rubber bushings. MD would be same or slightly better.

I don't know when I will be able to offer,
I've been too busy with orders to do modifications to first test pack

My current thought is to have Heavy and Medium versions, and estimated ranges like this:

Heavy: Estimated ideal range 600 (3")-1000 (2.5"), 500 min recommended weight, 1200 max recommended for proper performance but low lift.

Medium: Estimated ideal range 300 (3")-600 (2.5"), 200 min recommended weight, 750 max recommended for proper performance but low lift.

Both springs would be more durable than stock so you could load them with factory payload limits and be fine

Yeah I saw that, I checked the site too when he first announced it on IG. It was there like an hour later or so.

    Build thread coming soon.
You will not regret the Deavers. I love mine, U402 stage 2. Now that know about the HH and all the rave reviews I can't wait to get them with the cross tube and experience them for my self. Some times I think my truck is riding a little rough after having them in for 2yrs now. Then I get in the boss's stock '18 pro and realize just how spoiled I am.

The Deaver III’s paired with the Hammers are phenomenal.

thank you for details on your leaf springs! I very much appreciate it. I think as of now it won’t fit my needs since I won’t be carrying heavy constant weight. But I’ll keep it noted in case anything changes in the future. Your products sound amazing, so I can’t wait to see how these come out. As of now I think HH are on my 1. Priority list!

They look great! Yeah I’m thinking that I’ll probably settle for the Deaver U402 stage 1 since I have no Heavy constant load. (As of right now) I hear the ride is phenomenal! Can’t wait to see how it turns out! Keep us posted

I'm at about 230lb constant weight right now with no sag at all. Love my stage 1 packs. Even more now with the HH and crossbar.

    Whole lotta stuff
Gentlemen, I’m copying and pasting the message I sent to Eric regarding what a difference it made going from the OME Dakar EL095R springs to the Deaver U402 stage 2 packs. The difference is night and day after adjusting the compression tubes. No shudder on acceleration/deceleration and the handling over bumps and overall is miles improved!

What surprised me the most is when installing the Deavers, I had to take a ratchet strap to the cross tube and the axle and pull the entire axle housing back approximately 1” so the center bolts in the leafs would line up with the holes. I know that deaver springs are on the longer side, but they also specifically designed the U402 for the Tacoma. I just wanted to share my experience, and note that switching to the longer spring/shorter shackled significantly improved geometry over that of the dakars.

How long did you have the Dakars on before the switch?
