I'll be honest when I say that I don't see anything big happening until winter is over... I may be wrong, but I just don't see it. I would be up for a meet and greet anywhere anytime really, but no hard offroad for me until I get my susp fixed. Shits gonna leave me stranded one day soon here I am afraid...

   ...I mean...:yay:

Glad to hear you're staying in the Taco kid.

So you'll love to hear this story...
I was at RD's getting gas yesterday and a game warden pulled in after me...no, he wasn't there to arrest me :)...he had a 6x bull elk in his truck! Apparently someone shot it and didn't claim it for days, somehow FWP found it and started watching the area. The hunter/poacher came back 4 days later to get it and the FWP guys were there to handle the situation. Not sure if they had a legal tag or not but letting that animal sit there for days is wrong. Made me sick to hear that someone would do something like that. I've never seen an elk this size outside of Yellowstone - got to think that they were only after the trophy.

So let me get this straight? You were thinking of buying a chevy instead of fixing the Taco?

That is correct. My truck doesn't get driven like it should though it likely never will. I have been getting poor mileage and don't have the room/power to haul people or equipment around. I figured I would solve all problems by buying a diesel. I have since come to my senses though... After finding a suspension I want as well as seeing Werty run a 12.9 quarter.

Just picked up some new (to me) studded snow tires! They are Cooper Discoverers... Not the best, but its all I could spring on right now.

I understand that, If I did construction work I would rethink what I am driving..

So Colton I have a suspension question for you. So I want 2 more inches of lift so that I can fir bigger tires, I don't have the funds to just go a full 5 or 6 inch lift. So I am thinking of just adding to what i got and my question is shackle or spacer?

Well, do you have a new leaf pack or are you AAL? I can't remember... Also, what is your budget? I have heard that blocks are more likely to cause axle wrap. Just adding shackles will give you the lift you want but will wear out your stock leaves quicker.

I can tell you that the 5pack will be close to $550 including shipping. That's what mine cost back in May. Wheelers was great to deal with, YotaDan handled everything for me...and sold me half of the store's inventory. At least that's the way it seemed when I got the bill
