I for one like the patina'ed bolts there on the face of the hub.
Who was it that was giving you crap about that???
That was funny, I actually hadn't even noticed it before he said that. Too much shiny nice stuff, my eye doesn't find the flaws on anything very well really

yea.. it was one of those one in a million vehicles. i'll be lucky to end up with another car that reliable. thing literally cost me nothing to keep on the road.

 

ive got more in my savings that some people do in their 401k

Should I put a camper on truck???

 

Installed the drop diff kit tonight. Then went to Walgreens to pick up the FedEx package of rear upper and lower control arms.

Need to pick up my tools from the garage floor.

 

Did that go as expected? I still memba installing mine on the silver hundy

 

Wasn't too bad.. Took a little over an hour. One long bolt on the rear diff bushing changed from a 19mm to a 22mm and pissed me off. Seems to drive a little better. I'm close to a 2" lift in the front now.

 

Lol stupid junkyard had spray painted the hubs and other parts before I yanked them off.

Since they're going to be spares for the member that bought my manual hub spindles and new in box hubs, I figured these bolts will just keep the entire assembly in place and he won't actually use them.

Got bored and took pics of the entire rebuild process but really it takes me all but 5 minutes.

No but I did remember; I figured since the ball and detent arrived to rebuild the second hub, I could ship them out at the same time with your stuff this coming Thursday.

 

God damn, these camera phones are crazy good at taking pics...I had grease on my hands taking fucked up pictures
