All my rigs are purpose built. From crawling to camping. I also enjoy a nice stock truck for what that’s worth. Toyota’s are the jam!
You can borrow my Bronson if you wanna test ride a slacker style fs.

I already have a bike, but I'm upgrading forks.

    I have a Specialized Stumpjumper 29er. Currently 150/140, but getting a FOX 36 Fork which is 160mm.

I will for sure. May be a couple of days because life priorities are beating out bike at the moment, but it'll happen sometime soon.

Ah, I see. I thought it stayed at 110 rear like the v3. My v2 was only 100.

Does 140 fork null the frame warranty?

So, just to be clear, no?

    :p

I wanted to go 130 on my salsa and the bike shop I ordered the frame from said it might "void" the warranty. Salsa got back to him and they said the Fox 130 is the max fork length they will warranty the frame with if I had problems at some point. Thought that might be something all manufacturers do to limit stress on the head tube joints.

If you don't like the 160mm you can change the air shaft out to go shorter. A coworker just did this

Thats understandable. To my knowledge SC has no defined 'warranty void point' with regard to fork travel on the current TB model. They do specifically state that running a coil shock is not recommend (aka not covered under warranty).

While I plan to keep my stock Fox Factory air can to swap back and forth with the coil for comparison sake and for flexibility. I also have an "off the record" understanding with my LBS that if anything warranty related should occur while running the coil, I'll just swap the air back on before any claims are made.

Worked out a sweet deal on the 2018 Banshee Prime. Pretty excited about the Fox 36 up front.

Picking it up tomorrow. Riding Paris Mountain on Thursday and Kanuga sometime next week if anyone wants to join!
