It's only 6 bolts/nuts. But, you'll need to remove the front skid, and at least one of those support brackets. You'll see what I mean.

An impact helps here a lot. Save the hardware from the bar bushing mounts, they'll come in handy for things.

I saw that but I said 'something like this'.. I couldn't remember the brand, I was using that link as example... I wasn't talking about getting that brand or that company. There are better/stronger ones out there for function instead of display. Which I was saying that you can get the d-rings/shackles on your truck instead of getting full metal bumper with recovery points. Most off road shops have them.

Let me try to find the image about the ones I saw on Tacoma other day and post it here. That you can mount them under the truck.

This one I saw on Tacoma. He has other way around I mean black mount and red d-ring:

Looks like his are from SOS, I might be wrong. I couldn't see the mount part since it was black and couldn't tell the shape. And the D-rings were very visible. I looked on SOS website and noticed that this has good rating. And good price. I am planning to get those sometime so I can use them for awhile then I get the bumper sometime next year. If so, I could move the points out to front of the metal bumper instead of underneath.

You already have one of those, or the Off Road trim's hook. If you do have one like this, it's smaller and can't fit the "standard" 3/4inch shackles we use, but we can get a soft shackle in there. I personally don't have any yet, I'm sure someone else does though.

i like them a lot, got them as a present, I'll try to find the ones I have.

    Edit: I think it's these. 7/16" version.

I've used them with snatch blocks, tow straps, winch, snatch straps and they have worked great.

I know I have the factory recovery point/hook but I am trying to make it more reachable instead of going underneath and back there on the passenger side. If I didn't buy the prinsu racks, I would have gotten the bumper by now.

I like the factory one on the driver side which it's reachable. Toyota should have made the recovery points on front. Not underneath. Dumbass engineers. See new bronco that has recovery points on the bumper... So easy to reach them. Smart move on Ford's part.

I noticed that you are in TN. I usually go to Nashville for Predators hockey games. I hope to go there next year if covid rules lifted by then. I am not going to any games this year.
