What Have You Done To Your 2nd Gen Tacoma Today?

Yeah been doing a lot of sound deadening projects on my truck, because I got a new sound system. It's kinda addicting so I'm putting it everywhere.

 

I'm no professional but, when you think about all the plastic and rubber bits under the hood anyways, I wasn't concerned. The engine oil temp gauge in the gauge cluster stays the same anyways, right in the middle. And it's actually blocking heat from the sun from entering the engine bay. So it could actually be cooler or the same as it was before, who knows.

 

Yeah, your truck looks like it’s right at home out there! Man I bet it’s a smooth ride.

 

I was long overdue to relocate my rear diff breather. Now safely behind the brake light.




I also fixed one of my loose reverse lights after doing the HIR upgrade.

 

Took the BAMF lca skids off for a alignment and figured i would give it a bit of flare before reinstallation. Looks pretty cool.

I'm moving soon. I'm going to rent a trailer to help myself out. I've always wanted to tow something and I figured a little u haul would be the perfect non overkill thing to do it with.

 

We had a his&hers wash and wax day in the 100° heat.

It was her first time with her new Crosstrek.

So proud of taking care of that new car paint!



Took the old TRD Sport stickers off too.



And finally added the new vinyl decals I’ve had sitting around for months.

Edit: also first wash at the new house!!

 

Damn she's gonna overheat and get heatstroke with that black bag on her head.

 

Her first comment “you blocked out my face but not your license plate? Some kind of dummy you are”.

 

I don't get the "license plate thing". Maybe if I was a celebrity or something idk lol

 

Same, some people are just super paranoid lol

Me either, your license plate is literally viewable to everyone every time you drive down the road or park. I guess if someone wanted to look you up and find your address and murder your family, but that seems a little far fetched.

 

Wired raptor lights, and installed gauges.

 

Fabricated come stainless steel mounts for my Roadshower4. Should allow me to slide it over and mount on top of my awning mounts. This way I can slide my entire racks crossbars over to close the gap between my awning and truck.(Would mount Roadshower on other side but RTT folds out there.)

Will paint black tomorrow and mount them.

Anybody got any roof strips for extra cab? Got it fixed after wreck and thinking about selling it. Wrap is off. Gonna remove roof rack and cap. Will leave the lift and gears in it.

 

I mean I have my stock ones on my Access Cab, and I’d gladly give them and some cash for your rack....
