I was window shopping the Bartact site. I love the look of them but they do not list 2020 Tacoma's as compatable with their covers. Only up to 2019. I sent them a message and have not received any response from last week. If they never get support for 2020 I'm going to be more inclined to go with cover king when I'm ready to buy.

 

Thanks a lot, I think this one is more like reasonable price and the quality. I know the clazzios is the top quality also the pricey.
Well, it's a truck....

 

The leather skins are so tempting... My carhartt seat covers have been holding up incredibly well... Been on the truck since Dec 16 and they are machine washable and still repel water to this day

Bartact was my #1 choice. I called them yesterday, unfortunately they told me that they wont have covers for 2020s anytime soon due to COVID impacts. I went ahead and ordered CoverKings from Costco website.

 

I ordered CoverKing neosupreme from auto anything about a month ago. They came yesterday but the boxes did not have the instructions and installation tools. They seem very nice and hopefully I can get the missing items in soon. I called Auto Anything yesterday and they said the manufacturer was closed for the weekend but they sent them a trouble ticket for my order and hopefully Monday they will respond and resolve this.

 

There are prettier covers - but for a utility (truck specific) seat cover - these Carhartt covers work well. We have a horse farm on a river so we need covers that can be removed and washed. I believe we got them from Realtruck.com. I can't find a pic of the backseat.

 

Here is a pic of the backseat...with stuff - they fit tight - only pic I have is with coats and hat.

 

Expecting fedex to deliver my mossy oak carhartt seat covers today. Hopefully they are what they claim.

 

Are those the more pricey more tailored ones I've heard exist?
I've seen some and they looked more like potato sacks on real truck. Those seem to have a much better fit. I might have considered those over the CoverKing.

 

I actually do not remember exactly what I paid - I bought a set for me and my son (2002 Tacoma)...I looked them up (real truck .com) ...I bought the ones specific to my truck (and my son's). There is one called a precision fit too (assuming those fit even tighter), but I was not sure they could be removed easily. The ones I bought are specific to the Tacoma - price is 229 (precision is 334) for front seats and 289 for back seats (394 for precision). I know they gave a military discount - not sure if it was 10 or 20%, but it was nice. I've been pleased with the fit and the durability on these, and they wash well - my son loves his as well (his were only front seats as he as an access cab).

 

Let us know (with pics too!) how they look and fit. I'm interested in those as well.

 

Another vote for the Clazzios if you’re looking for top of the line. I love mine. They look almost factory.

 

Just opened my box of carhartts from covercraft. The seat covers look rugged enough, but no installation instructions or whatever tools i throught your suppose to get with them. However they do look simple enough to install once you get the straps through the seats.

 

Right now its raining, and forecast for tomorrow also. Probably be at least a couple days or more before i get to them. Just hoping its not going to be a pita to install them without the strap installation tool....i have fat fingers and large hands

 

At 66 years old and a life long Auto Tech I have owned more cars than most people. I have bought numerous covers during the years and I discovered Wet Okole's that were in a Ford Explorer used car that I was working on getting it ready for resale. I got permission to remove them and put in my personal car. The same covers are now in their third Ford Explorer and still look great. Very thick and water proof. I think they are made out of wet suit material. I have washed them about 4 times now . I think they are over 12 years old now. I will get some for my 2021 Tacoma.

 

I'm facing that with the CoverKing. No tool or instructions. They look easy but lots of straps and there isn't much room under the seat especially the power seat to reach in there. That's why they are supposed to send the plastic tool.
Of course rain here too so if I had time and all i don't want in the rain with out a garage.

 

are these factory? If not what brand?

 

Yeah i hear you, sucks to work in the rain especially with the truck doors open. You don't want water dripping on/in the door, and window electrical switches. I sent an email to the covercraft company i ordered them from, now just waiting to hear back.
