Really depends on what you intend to do with it. If you want to take it on some of the harder 4x4 trails you'll want better skids along with those sliders too

    You're lifting it yea?

Those King 2.5's gathering dust? Those are going on not to mention the King 2.5 rear's I ordered recently.

Overall 2" of lift with OME 906

I was thinking to myself this morning; are the skids any different between 4R and our Tacoma? I'd still like to get that skid plate you've got sitting in your yard for either vehicle.

    Sliders are a sure thing.

Harder trails are a sure thing.

Sleeping in the 4R will also be a sure thing.

Hoping I can take it to your neck of the woods when I get the lift done, or at the very least Hollister Hills.

6ft is about the tallest you can be to comfortably sleep back there

Storage drawers kill the room to sleep in unless you make extensions to put over the folded down rear seats

I can't say for sure that it would fit... They list then separately on their website for Tacomas vs 4runners but that might just be for marketing reasons IDK.... Maybe someone else knows, @Running Board Man ? IFS skids the same between taco and t4r?

It will definitely fit the Prerunner though :D

What's funny is my other co worker offered to buy it from me but I said no; he got hit from someone doing an illegal U turn in a busy street just this Sunday.

Says his car might get totaled out, not sure.

Even though I won't sell it, the thought in the back of my mind comes up and says "LONG TRAVEL THE 4R" :anonymous:

    Ouch

Yeah, for some reason, crappy sleep in a car is really crappy sleep.

Think the worst time for me was with my cousin in his Honda with low profile tires.

He picked me up from Camp Pendleton as he was coming from 29 Palms (we were both still in the marine corps).

He had this Civic, forget the year, but this was some many years back. We decided to surprise our family which is why he came to pick me up otherwise I would've rode my motorcycle.

We hit a pothole and it pops his tire only 3-4 hours into the drive.

The area where we got stranded sucked though as it was halfway through the 46 (near Bakersfield/Lost Hills); nothing but desert out there and oil fields.

It was already late evening so we got trucked out to the nearest small shop and slept in the car at about 1am or so.

Holy shit was it cold that night and all we had were the clothes we wore...kept waking up hoping enough time had passed where the shop would open up.

Drinking my first beer in maybe 2 years tonight. Lets see if my stomach looses its fucking mind.

I bought the Sapporo beer, because whenever I'm in Japan I drink beer with zero issues, but with other beer my stomach freaks the fuck out and I feel like im dying.

been watching a fuck ton of wrap videos to hype myself up. I have spent a few hours thinking about this and in my mind, the hardest thing i'll have to wrap is this; bottom front bumper valance, Im thinking im going to cut it all out and put a light bar in there.

You'll end up watching those videos where they have competitions on who wraps the fastest.

Then there were professionals talking about being able to wrap an entire car with just one piece and which way to pull/stretch the material.

    Pretty badass stuff.

Oh man its absolutely facinating the technology we have today to make this possible. I'm excited. Worse case im out 600 bucks and still have to paint my truck.

I'm taking it tom to get an estimate for the body repairs.

Some dark glossy flaked grey, or super silver with flake.
