I was vacuuming the wife's van (driver's side at the time) with the shop vac with my 2 yr old son sitting on the passenger side. I ask him if he wants to try vacuuming his side. He says yeah so I hand him the hose with the crevice tool. He does ok for a few seconds so I turn around to do something when I hear, "foomp, foomp, foomp, foomp." It was like 10 every second. When I turn back around, he's got the hose over the tissue box and it's damn near empty.

My Fire crew responded at 2am for a lady who needed help getting to the bathroom and a glass of water. When we got there and confirmed the reason for the call (she had been drinking and didn't want to walk in case she fell) I began to sternly inform her of the proper use of 911. My Captain told me to shut up and he proceeded to read her the riot act. After he finshed she immediately asked "What about that glass of water?" The look on his face was priceless.
