I was looking today but couldn't figure out how to do it...because I've never made a purchase like this before...But when I was buying Amaz0n today I was trying to set up a sort of reverse trailing stop...a trailing buy...SO if AMAZ drops to say $3075 it starts and then it falls to 3065, 3055, 3045...and then starts reversing, it buys when it reverses like $20 back to $3065....I'm sure this type of oder exists, I just couldn't figure out what it is called and how to set it up in think or swim...a start limit buy

Looks like two flawed plans that will be forced into 1 crappy plan so both sides can say, look what we got done, it would be better if not for the other party’s agenda.

I had a dream last night that EVERYTHING went to shit...Like 75% drop in the market and no matter what I did I couldn't sell because I kept manually trying to enter sells for all my positions with prices etc instead of a MARKET sell...
Stupid dreams...

Q3 should be. And I reiterate should be. What's best for this country period. No political agenda period. Open up as many businesses as safely as possible. Getting people back to work as safely as possible. Protecting those at most risk while letting those at least risk hopefully live long and prosper. No hype or exaggerated numbers. But no downplaying things either. Just plain truths.
But as we all know it will be far from that. Q3 will be I fear even worse than Q1-Q2. Finger pointing and screw the country as long as I promote my political agenda.

 

I was watching Dave Portnoy's DDTG video yesterday as the market was closing and I always perk up when he mentions PENN because I really believe hes too goofy to realize he's leaking proprietary info...He was discussing DKNG and PENN...and said DKNG is sweating the Baseball illness hard as they are still at 100% employment, paying tons of salary and not taking in $$...And he ALSO revealed that PENN (this is approximate quote) "Isn't close to releasing a sports gambling app...I mean Draftkings has an app and all but they've got all that overhead and salary they are just pumping out...But PENN isn't spending any money on any of that yet...Our app isn't even close"
I'm guessing Puts for both right now would be a good play...

 

I am of the opinion that one week after the election, depending on who wins, the wording of headlines will change dramatically...They'll switch from negative to positive thesaurus for situational adjectives...

 

I don't have A/C in my house...and it's already 81F in here...and I have today off...I'd rather a hot market please...Maybe I'll head over to my parents for a swim...

 

More NFL players opting out of the season...They are not having a season...Short those gambling stocks...

 

I was hoping we’d be pretty far into our turn around by now. And I was on the cautious side of this whole turn around. Now I’m not seeing much to be optimistic about until 2021.

I think they saw with MLB, it’s just going to be a nightmare. If you don’t need the money, why deal with it.

I don't think they want to make the effort basketball did...Basketball only needs like 14 guys per team...Baseball needs 2x that...and Football 5x that. If they REALLY wanted an NFL season they would play all the games in one spot that has about 15 or 20 fields within 100 miles....even if it were practice fields adjacent to each other.

 

Yea, I don’t see this being worth it for baseball. The costs of all the testing, bringing in new clubhouse staff, the travel and then turning around because the team on your schedule was just exposed. Plus already paying more players for your roster than normal. And of course no ticket sales. There’s nothing in this for the owners.

 

I agree completely. I work at a University specifically as the Online Instructional Technology Manager for the University so my job is safe LOL. We are all online right now. So my paycheck never stopped and because I'm married and with 2 kids my stimulus check was very generous. Heck I just used all of it for Stocks. So it was free money pretty much.

I also don't agree with the democrats here who still want to give people more money than what some hard workers make a month; NOT TO WORK. Thats wrong.
