So quick glance makes me realize I need to secure/suspend the fog light harness, as they stock end is resting on the Stage 2 inside of the "wings". Gotta wash the truck and take a look when I get home post 2nd alignment this afternoon.

If you look really closely, you'll notice the lower part of the 4 is black, whereas the rest of the letters are blue. Why you may ask? Well I learned that wiping the license plate with acetone will very quickly remove the paint. Sharpie to the rescue.

It's probably a good idea. I used a pair of those mountable zip ties to get the wires out of the way.

Double check the wiring polarity. I know my fogs on my 17' Sport were polarity specific. If you added the connectors it's easy to switch them. You can test with two strands of wire, crossed, between the connection.

They were working and I only disconnected the connector to the stock harness this morning.

They were working after putting on the SSO bumper about a month ago...but will keep the polarity issue in mind. I only use the fogs when weather warrants, but while moving another trailer of rounds last night kicked them on and immediately noticed no yellow light off to my passenger side!

Edit: also can check/rule out the DD SS3 fog with the factory fog tonight. I'm putting my money on a short/frayed wire.

Ahh, sorry Greg, I missed the "they were working but now not" post while I was in the brig. Yea, sounds like a snagged wire then.

So low and behold look what I realized when looking at the picture I posted on the computer monitor vs. phone screen!

Still think it's a short, disconnect or cut wire on the harness.

also the harness for the fog lights starts at the plug right in front of the hood latch on that lower crossmember at the bottom of the grill.

I would still just take two wires and cross them between the connections to be sure but............

    Yes, this.

    Yes Yes This This.

It was early, the caffeine hadn't probably kicked in yet. Easy mistake. However, you should definitely not be able to see those wires like that. I would either heat shrink (if possible) or tape that all up really good then extend the loom to the connector. And definitely zip tie that up as high as possible to keep it away from water as good as you can.

I add dielectric grease to all my connections when replacing lights or adding more.
