Well I just checked my Harbor Freight 3 ton jack stands. Mine aren't on the recall list, but that doesn't install any confidence in them. Don't want to be the first casualty of the model I have, and then they come out with a new list with mine on it. I wonder if they'll take them back even if there not on the List. Maybe I'll call them later.

While I do agree with this early assessment, you should look around a bit.
You are swimming with sharks...

I was walking down the beach once and this little kid was in the ocean yelling "HELP, HELP" there were sharks all around him, I just laughed. I knew those sharks weren't going to help him.

Wonder what ever happened to him?

Put up an electric cow fence. I helped my dad install one to keep the cows out of the main yard, and his garden. We were trying to find a short in the wire, and when I found it, knocked me on my ass, and my arm hurt like hell for a couple of days. I asked him is he was tying to kill them dam things. Don't know what current he was running, but the cows never came in the yard again.

When we were kids my brother had braces on his teeth, me and a friend dared him to spit on the electric fence dad had his cows in. My brother did one of those hanger spits on it and it lit him up like a Christmas tree.

I’m pretty sure they will. Mine weren’t on the specific recall but they were on another list of jack stands that would also be accepted, due to safety reasons.

If I missed any pics from anyone else, let me know. I forget how to see posts with pics only. You guys are no fun, I'm taking my toys home and not playing anymore.:annoyed:

I have some 20yr old Chinesium stands that are probably lower overall quality than HF. Not a major concern since they are used with my HF floor jack(s). The recall thing was about the bad tooth design on the cast section. Mine a solid there compared to the pics of the bad ones, so I have no real worries. Of course, the split weld on the one replacement model was not good.

It has been posted by someone who is a buyer for these stands out of the factory that most all cheap jackstands come from the same source. Given the similarities that I see, I would tend to agree.

Sorry. All that I have is my senior yearbook. I'll snap a pic from there when I remember. The changes are not unlike what has been posted, just a bit newer.

I graduated in 1991 at 6ft and 135lb. I used to lift as often as I could and ate everything in sight. I put on a Freshman 25 and continually gained through those five glorious years to about 200lb. I was happy and pretty fit then. Unfortunately, kids gave me a dad bod and COVID added a bit more. I had a goal of getting back to 200 which I hit for one solid day years ago. Now, I would be stoked to see 220 again.

I would have to actually get motivated to do something on the cardio end though. :der:
