On paper? it should be in the ballpark of 10% loss in output compared to gasoline...

practically? my buddy said it actually picked up some power compared to the carb setup and doesn't have the same angle issues

I've always wanted to do a propane injection! I've done installs on alot of air cooled single cylinder industrial engines (for things like grinders and floor scrubbers that have to be run inside) and in those systems it's a complete fuel replacement set up.

in farm country I had a few customers that modded the propane kits to run NG instead.. it was mostly just bigger nozzles because a NG molecule is so much larger than propane. And the NG is alot less fuel efficient than propane cause it has fewer BTUs

I wouldn't bother trying to make a set fit then if they're not a direct bolt on.

As for the bumper, there were some years that were closely similar to the Tacoma and others where the frame end extended a lot farther.

Lol the plate Ryan has is a quality one. Just wanted to ask before I add buying one to the list but it looks like I'll have to buy one for the 4R anyway.

Thanks for the links. Think his extra one is a 4X Innovation? I forget

It's only a cotton paper blend, they print more of it everyday... there's no reason to hold on to it

You'll probably know better than I but that 10% is really just a loss in efficiency not a loss in actual power correct? My experience is exclusively to power equipment and it's easy because the throttle is never adjusted once the work starts. Keep it at 3600rpm and let it do it's job. So in my experience going from gas to propane just means your using more propane than you would gasoline, the ability of the work performed is the same

That angle thing is 100% dead nuts. I had a whole bunch of PENDOT mowers that I did propane kits on ... when they were cutting the grass on the highways the mowers would act up or die on the steep slopes by the over passes because the carb bowl would either be empty or flooding into the cylinders (depending on which slope they were on).. smooth sailing and no hiccups after the kits were installed

Yeah those wheels came on the base, BASE models. It's like the '2wd reg cab without a single option tacos' that got those :D
Have you seen the steelies they use for the spare tire? With the round hole look? Look like the common old mil spec type steel wheels.
Steel is cool if you wheel hard because if you bend a wheel coming down on rock or something while aired down you might be able bend the lip or rim of wheel back enough so the the bead will mount. I like steelies too

Oh, I forgot, in addition to getting eye pokes the reply BAN allows them to Like and report but not comment.
So they hang around.and report posts they like after eye pokes.:D
I would tag but I'm currently serving time in the Tag and Quote Ban Can.o_O

    Oh.
Well hell I'm not gonna be able to tell you anything new about steel wheels. Sounds like you have a bit of experience off the paved road
