I have been trying to find the chrome TOYOTA badge (PT211-TT980) for my 2002 Taco. There are several on-line places that have them but the cheapest I can find costs $250.00 for just one which is not worth it.

So a friend of mine is looking to see what it would take to make some of them using his commercial 3D printer. He estimates he could probably sell them for about $75 each if done in small batches. In the mean time I will keep searching on-line for one of these emblems at a reasonable price.

Dang, turning out to be a rare one huh just like the SR5 badge?

Those were up on ebay for roughly $200-300 on average.

I don't need the SR5 badge but if he can make the TOYOTA badge he can also make the SR5 one. ;)

Another option is to buy the PreRunner SR5 badge for about $50.00 then just cut the SR5 part off and use it.

Gives you a spare PreRunner Badge.

Oh I don't need any, but there are others that want them.

I was sure the Prerunner SR5 was slightly different than the SR5 by itself.

Referring to the emblem on the side of the cab.

Someone want em? If they're on ebay for 200-300 I'll let my used ones go for 100:evil:

I took off both side SR5, rear TOYOTA, rear SR5 V6, rear TACOMA. everything but the side door raised emblems at this point. leaving debadged for a bit and then will put on my vinyl ones from @CBoy808

    Damn, it’s worth that much?

I went to a car show and bought a box of brand new OEM badges from a bunch of different cars and stuck them all on my toolbox. Including a Tacoma one.

Yeah once they come off you really can't put them back. They're made of a soft plastic, almost like foam or silicone.

It depends on what the condition of the paint around them looks like. The paint underneath is like new so there likely will be some ghosting which can be corrected by compounding the area
