Well, hopefully this solves the issue and I get cold air again. No obvious sign of leaks on it, but ... :notsure:

really, the only pain in the ass is that the power steering pump needs to come out for this to be removed on a 5VZFE.

OMG, now Monte is "divine inspiration?" Puleeze. Even he would say you're drinking too much Kool-Aid now.

Pretty sure he's putting on 37s or even larger. @POSTacoMike

Think he was talking about ben, not me. I'm doing everything I can to stay to just the 1" body lift I'm running. I'm planning mtz's for winter, the 36x15.5-16" (375/65/16")

Maybe it's not showing up, but I swapped my compressor when the body was off. 10 outta 10 would recommend this!!!! :D I just won't be there! One body swap is enough for me!

Hey everyone. I have a 2003 Tacoma 4x4 and a p2121 code. I thought it was the throttle position sensor and I replaced it with a brand new Aisan one but it still didn't fix the problem. Does anyone have any suggestions?

It's a reference to something that was said a few pages back. Anyone who's been paying attention gets it.

    Apparently! In some circles...yes.

One of several actually. It was kind of a blanket statement that may have also implied other influencers who are tw royalty too. :cookiemonster:

It's just some butthurt folks who get upset when others question their word, or even just give another opinion. They seem the ones who want their opinion taken as gospel....

Are you saying I'm not paying attention? :luvya: I think I probably started that whole thing by accident. Still never got my questions answered, even though they were asked with the best intentions and curiosity.

Guess I'd just moved on already, hahaha. Or forgot; which @mini tells me happens when you get to be my age. o_O

As of this moment, I'm drawing a vacuum for 3 more minutes. Then, we'll see if it holds. I honestly can't see how the compressor was the issue - there was no evidence of leaking around it - but the seals inside the new one are definitely tighter than the original, so fingers crossed.

Oh, and it's a PITA to get the PS pump out when the fan and radiator are still installed. I'll be happy to never do that again.

    upload_2020-7-28_16-15-6.jpg

On an only-semi-related topic ... my LCA bushings don't twist/move at all when the steering is turned and the truck is stationary, so perhaps it's just my alignment. Will likely still replace the bushings.

I some how got a compressor out of Brett's old truck through the bottom...i don't really know how. Certainly couldn't go back in though haha PS pump removal is a good idea.
