    Hi guys
I started getting my truck truck ready for the run on the weekend. When rotating my tires, I lost all of the oil from one of my rear 5100s (very weird). I guess lifting the weight and extending the shock exposed the age and abuse it has taken.

I have a new pair being rushed to my house and they are supposed to arrive tomorrow. It's a simple fix but if they are delayed past tomorrow I'm going to have to bail on this run.

That said I see we are filled up to the max of ten. If someone else knows they can make it I will back out.

Let me know. Otherwise I'm working towards my Friday arrival in Ardbeg.

    G

Ok bring them but lets try to avoid trail side surgery. Hopefully my parts arrive and I'm good to go.

    Thanks boys

    Alright gent and ladies,

Here is the rough plan with the locations and times.

    Day 1, Friday:

Arrive to Ardberg and setup camp site, location is the following:

    45°38'55.0"N 80°10'44.8"W

if the location is taken by another group of people - make them leave :fenforcer:, please don't. Go to the next one located here:

    45°36'34.1"N 80°08'48.0"W

    Day 2, Saturday
    :

Have a nice breakfast, sober up and head out to play in the rocks till 2PMish. Have lunch/snacks after and head out to VMUTS no later than 4PM.
Arrive to VMUTS camp spot around 7PM and setup camp, have a beer

I am thinking about camping at the end of D9 or D5 trails, alternatively there is the following spots:

    46.40244,-79.05319

    46.39635,-78.91333

@llamasmurf fill us up with the camp locations maybe? Closer to lake is better, but we are open for camp spots away from lakes as well.

    Day 3, Sunday:

I am thinking about visiting abandoned mine located here 46.31703,-78.90571
Then go up to the famous lookout everyone talks here about and generally explore trails and see tings around.

Camp based on where we end up at the end of the day.

    Day 4, Monday:

Have breakfast, fill gas and head out to Minden Hydro Line located here: 44.93357,-78.80180

Arrive there around 11AM , have lunch and air down. Do parts of the trail and leave no later than 4PM, visit local ice cream dairy have some kind dinner with take out food, maybe @Joe23 going to show up for that mall crawl meet:boink:
Head out back to GTA or wherever you are living around 7PM.

I am open to your ideas/concerns/or general "hey, fuck you"

Maybe you are unaware of just how large the VMUTS are...

I went out with @CountryGirl96 from 10:30am until 4:30pm and we only made it up to the lookout and to the mica mine by taking olrig rd most of the way between the 2. The camp spot for the 1st night should probably be almost at the mine. So we start there and end up at the lookout.

This camp spot is very large (46.36792, -78.84922) has a HUGE fire pit. Its meant for large groups to camp. It is very close to the Mica mine as well.

Well, we travel at much faster speeds (see Swisha loop) and for most people in the group here that I've wheeled with level 2 trails going to be piece of cake. I am not worried about it at all.

I am not sure exactly where I said anything about trail difficulty. But ok.

It is just pure distance we are talking here. :bananadead:

The distance I am seeing is not long, I've done much longer in shorter times up in Sudbury area. Just saying.

    Yea you are right,

Just the largest trail system in Ontraio. Almost 300KM of trails.

What the fuck am I talking about.

    :duh:

Maybe you drove on some fireroads in the Sudbury area? Or illegally on snow machine trails?

Cuz I dont see no large registered trail system in the Sudbury area :boink:
