Been running one for ages. One of the worst hit areas on the bike is that top seat stay bridge and shock.

For reals. Whenever I see something like that, I check the keyboard. Is the G next to the H? Yep.

    Side note; best show ever.

Not sure I did Redcoat... But man, that might be one of my all-time fave rides. Fuuuuuhhh Millcreek.

How do you like the new 1up design compared to the old?

I’ve only had this hitch rack and the tray rack on the Taco. Love them all.

I’ve got the super duty, but was always curious if the new Equip-D models were worth the difference

First ride with clipless spd’s today and my heels we’re not feeling so great with them. Is it the shoes? Placement of cleat underneath the shoe being offset and not centered?

I really did like the feeling of being clipped in and getting out was not tough regardless the tension.

What part of the heel? Are you talking the back or more towards the arch of your foot?

redcoat comes right off of midmountain. I could show you if we ever went on a ride on the crest. or if you look on trailforks, it's pretty straightforward how to get to it.

The only thing Mill has going for it is rattlesnake gulch and little water. everything else, i could leave it.

I do enjoy the drop into Mill D though. too bad that trail is always overflowing with hikers. :/

How is this damage occurring? Squatting suspension down clears the shock. Pressures all good. Linkages were checked over with my multi tool and one seemed loose, but anyone ever see this or have insight?

I would say almost the back half of my foot felt uncomfortable. And every once in a while I would unclip it to “stretch” it or I guess just unclipping it would alleviate some heel pressure. Maybe I had them too tight.

I guess like with anything else there’s a break in period though. Could just be that

Yeah it could be from not being used to the tighter shoe. If I don’t ride for a while or my shoes are too tight I’ll get some soreness in the arch maybe a little towards the heel. A few weeks ago my shoes were way too tight and my feet cramped up after my ride

Its a little tough to diagnose via the interwebz. It sounds like there could be some shoe fitment issue, cleat positioning issue, or a combination of the two.

If the shoes are new they may just need some breaking in. You may also have your cleats set to where your foot is too far back on the pedal, placing more pressure on your heel.
