Thats very true, I cant believe I didnt consider that since ive been building and tuning all my cars since 2009. Ive seen an average of 20% drop on mustang dynos, it obly ever sneaks up toward 30 if your at high altitude or its 9 billion degrees outside. So we need to know every factor. Although I wont back down on my initial statement that they need to be in the 400 to 425 CRANK range to make 6 grand "without labor" worth it. But im willing to bet OVtunes TT will be quite a lot higher, just by the footage of the truck in the field, thats not how a 308hp engine sounds and responds lol. Even my RS when stock wasnt that agressive and they come 350 factory.

I looked into it at one point because my buddy is eyeing it for his zr2 but I can't remember if they were wheel or crank numbers. I think it was whp because I believe somewhere they advertise it as 450hp

    Guys. Gals.
Where you guys seeing these magnuson numbers?

308 to the wheels is *easily* 350 crank.

    Also, I love turbos.
Our base TT kit only produces about 320whp.
But this is on my hub dyno. No tires at all. Accurate power readings.
But I wouldn't be surprised if it only did 300whp with wheels/tires.
Hopefully that's not sounding anemic now!

Messaged my Fab guy, *should* have eta of catted tomorrow.

Few folks kits ship this week!

interesting, whats the TQ looking like? in my exp SC keeps HP and TQ about the same, TT usually have way more TQ than HP. 320 hub so thats about 380ish feom what we saw feom this engine, I wouldnt be surprised if TQ was 400? so we would see roughly 320whp/340wtq? Seems like you must have turned it down a bit, as that video sure looked and sounded to me to be way north of 400hp.

Depends the video, some were at different boost levels.

Yes more than 340 ft lbs.

Yes I will be putting out more videos.

But they will all be on powermax. Base kit tuning, testing, etc is all finished and swapping back and forth between turbos again and again is a hassle.

There is very little difference between base and powermax when boost is only 6psi, with the bases making boost a little quicker in low gears.

In 6th, they both will make full boost at 13-1400 rpm.

At this point I'm just preparing kits, verifying all on the dyno, and working on fresh numbers without that torque dip.

I've also been working on the instructions.
Speaking of that, I would sincerely appreciate if I could connect with one of you guys whose truck is not a Pro, since the ABS is on the other side. I just need some high res pics.

With wheel-torque being so high, I'm assuming that most of us won't even notice or care about base kit wheel horsepower numbers being around 300. Plus, anyone getting the base kit isn't looking for a race truck. They're looking for a kit providing a respectably sized boost in usable power, ecoboost-esque

uh oh, you just triggered my red flag card... I have a pro, whats the issue with the ABS? Am I going to run into some kind of living hell nightmare installing this kit myself because of my choice in trim level? Please god, tell me it doesnt require a ABS relocation.

No, the kit was made on a Pro. But I need to have instructions for the trucks that have the ABS in the other spot.

I’m installing my kit as soon as it arrives (catted, PowerMax with hopefully all fuel upgrades). If you need pics I would be happy to provide.

OP asked where Magnuson numbers came from. Likely he will have a tuning option for Magnuson SC kit in the future. I'd prefer twin turbos myself, but its a no go for me unless I can pass emissions.
