No apology necessary. I love aviation and hadn't seen that mini-doc about Draco. Lucky kids.

Mounted my shell supports/inner roof mounts over the weekend. Also got my roof tracks flipped correctly since Leer had them reversed.

After several months of searching and almost buying a silver ranger cap I found this Leer locally and picked it up for 325$.
No broken glass and everything mostly works. I'll just need struts for the rear glass eventually. Plus it already matches!

Just got my Leer 100 xr today. Main options were windoors, roof rack, and lock. Still have some sliders to install.

    Damn thieves!

Looks like a screwdriver was taken to the water drain sections and my glass broke. Lots of running around and ultimately I can't get a dealer to send me a window. My temporary fix...x4 lexan pieces. Unfortunately, all hardware stores i went to are low on stock since COVID got people buying out the bigger sheets for stores/registers.

Ouch! People suck sometimes. Your fix looks slick though, nice and clean. Great job!

+1 for this! I would like to do this eventually as well.

Unfortunately, its a ATC camper and the local Hawaii dealer doesn't carry their product so they won't touch it. Trying to call dealers in the states but no one is willing to ship to Hawaii since its glass and it'll break.

Can you find someone that would cut down to to fit it? Like the back window from a full size truck? Just so long as it's tempered.

I was able to first make a cardboard template, then transfer that to masonite. I did a test fit with the masonite just to make sure I would be able to get it in and out without problems. The only way to do that is to remove the entire window frame and then unscrew the vertical support at the back for front section of glass.

I wasn't able to locate any rubber/vinyl glazing that matched the stop stuff, so I'm just going to use RTV silicone. Hopefully I don't mess it up when installing.

I got a piece of tinted polycarbonate from a plastic shop.
I bet if you make a template and take it to a glass shop they will cut you a piece.

Got a glass shop thats willing to work with me, but its looking like the tempered process will be 3-5 weeks out. They also said laminated is an option...all costing ~$300+

Boo. If you brought the glass in would they cut it? I don't know how many auto junk yards are there but most auto glass shops could have something that would work.

Go to your building supply store and see if any large pane glass doors have tempered glass. Worth a shot since you're looking at $300 for them to supply glass next month.
