I'm a big fan of Aeromotive if it's going to be an upgrade pump, otherwise Denso or Aisin is the way to go

yup denso is where I’m going.

Because I’m in Hawaii I’m having a hard time making sure what tank to get. I’m not sure if I have the 16, or 18 gallon tank. I want to get the Dorman tank off Amazon for free shipping to save me 140 bucks

For Toyota, I'd stick with whatever OEM is but that's the first time I'd hear a vote against the Walbro.

Used them in plenty of my go fast cars

I thought that too until I came here, a lot of people knock walboro but I think the issue is they used to be good and now it’s all china made

They're trash, independently tested they underperform and they're high failure rate. Not to mention that even their light duty 190-250 lph models whine constantly. They used to be good and now they just ride on the reputation from years past.

They used to be the shit no question. I have that opinion from my years in small engine work, so take it with a grain of salt but Walbro is almost exclusively used in all 2cyl motors that are too big for a vacuum actuated pump. I noticed a major decline in quality from about 2009 to 2015 ... I had to warranty numerous electric Walbro pumps because they switched to a lower quality plastic in their gear set and littlest amount of contaminants would sheer the teeth

I have zero experience with Walbro in automotive applications so I can't say if their just as bad or have better QC for the higher flow pumps
