    I didn’t ask you :p
I put some tritium sights on mine a long while ago and love them. Curious how a red dot would be on it. Been wanting a light for it as well since it’s my night stand gun

I was there texting him the whole time, also there when he bought the light. :boink:

Red dot is a game changer, but most people are such bad shooters or ignorant to different techniques that it becomes a personal thing.

I run the Sig Romeo1 Pro and a Surefire X300U/B on my Sig P320 X-VTAC. This fourth or fifth experience with a red dot pistol (the first that is mine) and they are the future.

If you want some advice on red dots or pistol lights, ask me and I'll get you straight.

Probably don’t want a red dot. On this pistol anyway. Interested in a light though.

    This^^
I had tritium on my last glock they were great. These sights are to low for co-witness I’ll upgrade them if I like the red dot life.

If I could stomach the money a Trijicon something similar but more budget friendly is the holosun 507.

    Depends on budget and purpose.

Pick preferred reticle size, do NOT go for self adjusting as they're never good enough in brightness and wash out frequently.

Self defense no $ limit = Trijicon Rmr 2
Self defense moderate budget = Holosun 507c
Self defense cheap = iron sights, don't get a red dot

Competition no $ limit = Leupold Deltapoint Pro or Trijicon RSO
Competition moderate budget = Holosun or Sig
Competition Cheap = Dr optic, Burris Fastfire

    Plinking= whatever you want

Sort of a loaded question, really depends on whats important to you and whether or not you need to trust your life with it 100%.

if youre going to have it attached to an everyday carry on a pistol WITHOUT co-witness sights, I would go with an Aimpoint Acro. Its a sealed design meaning no debris can get between the laser and the optic, also isnt prone to fogging.

if its just on a plinker or night stand gun, I prefer something with an auto-on feature as well as the battery door on the top so i dont have to remove it to change the battery, Leupold Deltapoint Pro is a solid option there.

Holosun has some interesting features, like a solar panel on top. Trijicons RMR is built like a tank.

    Go for a Streamlight TLR1-HL

Less than $150 and will last a lifetime in my experience

The only thing I don't like about the Acro is the battery consumption. It's a bullshit internet meme gripe, but when there's the RMR, I don't see a point due the Acro unless you're terrified of emitter distortion or blockage.

I've had water on my optic and I could see the dot fine.

i think the big argument that can be made for a sealed system is having to draw from your hip where its warm, in the winter, fog sets in and your optic is out of the game for a minute, now.. if you have a co-witness setup not really a deal breaker but its still something to consider.

I personally run a deltapoint pro but its not on my EDC.
