Yeah I agree. It’s really screwed up all my plans for this year as well. I haven’t really been able to do anything and I think at this point anything I do is either going or be solo or maybe 1-2 other people that I know their specific situation.

This still sounds kinda dumb. I feel weird just hanging out with my family right now.

this is exactly why I’m not interested in large group meetups. I’m not going to put myself or family at risk for something that I can do without. I don’t understand the mentality of “oh well if I catch it I catch it”. How about we all take some personal responsibility instead of just trying to infect everyone and seeing who is lucky enough to survive.

This is the way I'm leaning right now as well. As fun as the group trip was last year, I've had tons of fun with small groups as well. And, I do enjoy solo trips.

you can always do a solo trip to the eastern sand hills in Nebraska, the virus is fairly non-existent out there plus its less humid the further west you get
not many trees out there though but some gnarly hills around the rivers

Ok, I don't know WTF this is about. Sounds like something that could be settled in PM's..(not to me, though, I have to go to sleep soon)

I don't know either but it seems every thread I go I find him talking shit about Minnesota and I'm tired of it.

But to the actual subject, I agree with the sentiment that we shouldn't be doing anything with what's currently going on as much as I would like to.

yes, if you do have at-risk relatives you should take extra precautions but you cannot push that onto the 95% of people that will have mild or no symptoms, that is the # i recently heard from all the data so far
whenever the normal cold cough & sneezing season comes around everybody is really gonna start freaking out

    Ok. Yeah, that's weird.

I see the poll leaning further in the same direction. I tend to agree with it the way things have been going. It sucks but it looks like we might have to wait another year.:(

I've basically accepted that nothing fun is going to be done at least the rest of the year.

in the east yes! just like Iowa
just from people that might not have ever ventured off of the only interstate through here, that is flat and boring
but not much can grow well out in the west but grass i guess, lots of cows and ranches

kudos to Detroit and their police department
basically the only big mid west city that was unscathed of the recent violence
i am much more scared of that ruthless violence

Yeah, it seems like the smart thing is to wait until next year for the group trip. Maybe some sort of day trip would be ok in the near future.
