Its dripping pretty agressively, if I use less then half a tank it doesn't seem to leak.

I ordered that new tank, and im going to order a denso fuel pump via Amazon prime and dorman back strap.

I mentioned in another post years ago, most I had at a fill-up was 18.2 gallons

needless to say I stalled pulling into the gas station coming off the interstate :D

For the gas tank replacement Ive ordered

Toyota gasket for the filler neck
Toyota gasket for the pump assembly
    new Denso pump
    new Dorman tank
    new Dorman strap
Does the vent on top of the tank need a gasket?

Finally got around to pulling the bed and fixing the evap leak...I built a little smoke tester that used mineral oil and a soldering iron like you see on youtube. I had eh results with it, essentially it just wasn't making enough smoke. So I pulled the "EVAP line" from the charcoal canister and pressurized it per this page of the FSM:
    upload_2020-8-22_19-23-40.jpg
I simply blew into the hose and then plugged the end of it. I could hear a slight hissing like you hear with a leaky tire or inner-tube. So I started spraying soapy water around all of the gaskets and seams...sure enough there were two leaks in the fuel pump/sending unit gasket. I sprayed all around the rest of the tank and didn't see any other bubbles so I concluded it was that. I was replacing the fuel pump anyways so it was rather convenient that this was where the leak was. So I finished replacing the fuel pump and the gasket and did the same test again, and didn't see any leaks, so fingers crossed...
