Could do a day trip, if anyone wants to camp there are camp grounds available up where we ended last year. It's all up to how you feel, you probably run into more people going to the grocery store than would turn up for a meet up. I would suggest we back burner it however at least till September maybe early October.

 

I like this idea. I want to do more fall trips this year anyway.

I'll post up if I decide to do a day trip.

 

I guess if everyone doesn’t want to go I understand. I’m still on board if it’s a go. It’s a group site. The group site is a large area and could spread out. I have my own tent, tables,and chairs. We cook our own food keep 6 ft, use hand sanitizer, etc. just over 3 weeks away. If it’s cancelled no biggie I’ll cancel my vacation day. Im in if we go.

 

Seeing the assman himself in his natural habitat is worth the risk of a thousand imploding suns.

I'll probably be passing what with spending my days with the sick and dying (and dumb).

Big props to the government for demonstrating such concern over my well-being. After all, when I go camping to remote areas of northern WI, I go to be around people - not to, you know, naturally social distance myself.

As far as I’ve seen. County and state parks are still open. No need to give up yet.

 

I saw individual spots at Marinette county Twin Bridges campground has individual sites September 11-13 Available. $25 per night includes electric on each site.But nothing for the original date

 

I've been hitting normal state parks and going off-road where legal and sensible. Came across a beautifully muddy spot near a lake that I wanted to try to traverse, but wasn't bold enough to try it without one of you and a winch. Part of me died a little bit that day.

Still, I'm trying to be careful and respectful and kind, and avoid groups - or stick to small groups who mirror my behaviors. It's one thing if I get COVID, it's a whole other thing if I give it to a stranger or someone I care about.

I do hope to see you guys soon, though.

Covid is the New "Murphy", always looking over your shoulder, waiting for the right moment to fuck everything up. I think we should tell China that we don't owe them any money, our debt is wiped clean for you spreading this shit all over the world. Just my 2 cents worth.
