Well transmission fluid change done. Was actually super easy doing the "turn the truck on and use the transmission pump" method. Basically drain the first ~3 quarts out of the drain plug. Fill it. Then disconnect the return transmission cooler line and attach a hose to a bucket to it. Then turn the truck on for 10-15 seconds and itll pump out ~3 quarts of fluid. Fill. Repeat.

Not the best picture but right blob was just from the first 3 quarts (out of the drain plug) Middle was the next 3 quarts out of the cooler line. Left was the last 3 quarts out of the cooler line. The right is actually darker in person than the middle one.

And then got ready for tomorrow.......hopefully fedex doesnt f me. I hate fedex in my area...they are the worst.

I want headers but really don’t want to do them
Myself. I stopped by a shop last Friday and they said they would swap them for $350. I’ve always done my own work but I might pass on doing them from what I’ve been told they are a bastard.

$350 isnt that bad of a price to have them installed. They really arent that bad if you have the tools though. The first time always takes the longest though.

They fucking suck here too. Got a Moto tank delivered the other day and specifically left the drive way gate open so it could be left on my porch. The fucking douche driver just dropped it right outside the gate at the road. He must have not even got out the truck. A-hole.

Well we are in the same area lol. Ive just had issues with them not delivering the days they say they will and not coming to me in the backyard for signatures. Ive been home, left a note on the door that i was in the backyard so wouldnt hear knock. Only to come out to the "you were not home" notes. Pull up the security camera and you can see them knock, read the note, and just leave.

Anymore I just have them deliver to the Fred Meyer and just pick it up there. My USPS lady is awesome as is the UPS lady. The UPS lady is somewhat into cars so when she sees something from rockauto or X racing she asks what its for (if I'm home)

the only hard thing about headers for the 05-11? is the steering shaft. other than that, the newer trucks have the emission crap to deal with but i think its a pretty easy job if your steering shaft comes apart easily. mine wouldnt

I busted one putting in my clutch, drilled it out all the way through with a left hand drill bit then broke the fucken extractor off balls deep in it.:frusty::frusty::frusty: $40 in drill bits later it finally caught and ran up a couple threads and I got some visegrips on it and it came out like no big deal.

Fed-ex is by far the shittiest of delivery companies. Even the drivers admit it. Most of them are just waiting for USPS or UPS to call em

On-trac is by far the shittiest of them. Ive pulled a gun (well pulled is more just hand it in the ready position) on them twice now. One guy was in my fenced in backyard (ie HAVE to go through a gate) at 9:30-10pm. Other guy wasnt really "pulled on" but had it in my hand since he was banging on my door over and over loudly (was working nights so was asleep).

Hell even today got to watch the guy toss my package from 5 feet away onto the porch. Thankfully it wasnt anything fragile.

It really seems regional though as people I know in there places will complain about the people we say are good here.

Fed ex dropped off an ECGS bearing puller for me that someone had to replace after using mine and when it was delivered the box was empty, partially torn open.

On my USPS drivers day off, the same chick always fills in. She's lost packages and claimed she put them in the wrong box, left packages in the middle of the yard as I was chasing after her yelling cuss words, and she once had the audacity to hand me a package and claim that her scanner was broken and I needed to call and let them know she delivered it. There's always exceptions, but of the big 3, FedEx is by far the shittiest
