Bit of a moot point, 99.999999999999% of those who invest the time and money into a 500 HP toyota tacoma are going to beat on it at a MINIMUM of "occasionally".

Eh.... not going to lie, but no one seems to care about the vandalism being done by a specific protected class to statues, and entire cities right now....... So as much as I yes, dislike he did this, I also dont care as it pales in comparison and im sure it only got attention because of one very specific detail I dont need to mention as its against forum policy. Thats my 2 cents, wont go further into that landmine discussion.

Does not sound like he defended him, just that it pales in comparison ? What is that you ask ?

Nope, dont know the guy or care ether way. I was just making the observation that this seems silly when compared to recent events of those who are shilled for by media as heros, martyrs and revolutionaries as they burn down federal buildings and tag national monuments but a random white dude scribbles his handle on a rock in the middle of nowhere and somehow thats worthy of even being mentioned. Raises an eyebrow is all. Not defending him. Vandalism is vandalism ether way.

That was a bit brash, sorry for that. Also, this did happen a while ago. I think more "outdoors" style people respect our lands and nature in general so I think that's why it's so offensive.

It also happened like 2 years ago, he put up an apology video, and everybody else has moved on :notsure:

Also comparing naturally-made formations to man-made monuments (regardless of politics)?

    Back to the topic:

What do ya'll plan to do with all that power?

This is true. Power, reliability, cost, you can only have two.

It's going to be around 6 psi. If it's anything like our 2nd gen roots, you may only be able to step down .2 or .3 in pulley size to put down reliable and efficient power.

I'd have to look at the compressor map, but Magnuson/ Toyota did/ does their homework on these and typically optimize the blower in correlation to the necessary blower/ crank pulley size combination to stay within the proper efficiency island while minimizing heat output and maximizing power output.

6-8 may be the most anyone might want to go on them. Again, I'd have to look at the compressor map to determine that. It's not all about boost, it's about airflow. If you want to start prepping now it is my strong advice to get a Venturi style intake which starts out large in tube size and necks down to The OE size by the MAF. Then open up the exhaust to at least 2.5". Decat the secondary cats as well. The key is to open up the intake and exhaust over the restrictive OE designs.

These things take time to develop. Unfortunately it doesn't just happen overnight.

Definitely towing and more fun for the off-road dudes. More passing power as well and better assist uphills.

Define "normal?" The truth is that despite being boosted and having all that extra power available on tap, the majority of boosted owners see 5 - 10% boost situations throughout their drive.

I think manual trucks would be the ones to see the most wear due to inherent driveline shock. Auto owners, as long as their transmission is up to par to handle the power running through it, it should last them a long time reliably.

Well yeah, of course he had to put up an apology video. He runs a store targeted towards a niche crowd, and that sort of thing would make him lose A LOT of business. Of course he is going to apologize. This is the age of politicism even in businesses.

Uh, not everyone is riding in unloaded trucks fetching groceries from time to time.... LOL

    - Towing right out of the gate would be much more pleasant

    - Offroad, more low end power is always welcome.. much more pleasant... believe it or not, people can have and use increased power without producing an "endless burnout"

    - Highway driving (especially when loaded); uh, passing? Freeway merge?

    - General F-You power to have just because...

To be fair there were 25 kits that if you followed closely enough, you could have gotten in on. So yes they are currently sold out until all the parts are delivered to the first 25 customers. There will be future rounds of orders for people to get in on. No reason to get angry about it with no skin in the game. Be well.

This is exactly why I got mine. Plus I missed my LS2 and wanted power to par with it. The way I have it now, it closely matches the output of a LS2 or a Ford Lightning SVT, so it comes down to driver mod in a race, and I have the 4x4 advantage. ;)

You've got yours dialed though, and likely pushing quite a bit more than me. I'm smaller pulley + stock TRD tune. Still rich as pig, but she rolls these E-Load 33s juuuuust fine :D

When I feel the itch for power I have an LS7 for that . but I digress... Back to 3rd gen SC talk lol
