Well that’s a different issue, I’m talking about the traders that start the ball rolling on various stocks that are sitting at very low levels, and then get jolted by news that’s generally very insignificant in true market valuation. There will be documentary’s made about the traders who manipulated the markets during this pandemic. Could be an underground network with media members helping drive the narrative , fun stuff if you let your mind wander.

This is mostly in jest, but also, entirely possible

No, that’s the news, Companies get acquired by larger ones all the time, that doesn’t magically cause them to go from 1.50 - 36 a share. That’s people making the news work for them.

 

Great question. By the time they’ve used this loan to get to the point they can produce ingredients for drugs, covid will hopefully be winding down, and with no need for their services, maybe they can sell those factories to Pfizer or something.

Some of these politicians just love to puff the chests and play to the cameras when they get their chance to talk down to big money CEOs

 

Only got 5 shares. Went up to 50 back to 28, now at 37... It's been a wild morning

 

I am all for regulation if there's collusion and things of that nature. I am not for punishing companies for being successful.

On the other regulation issue, these companies (Facebook, Twitter, etc.) can't hide behind the Common Carrier law while at the same time regulating speech that they choose to regulate. That will stop very soon I think.

 

I think you are correct, I understand they are social media companies trying to make everyone happy, trying to cherry pick where they will regulate. But they need to choose what it will be. Either regulating speech or you aren’t. Couldn’t it be as simple as allowing Facebook users to choose? Would you like to see everything? Choose facebook X. If you would like us to filter what we feel you shouldn’t see, choose Facebook Y.
