Oh snap! The carpet that I just ordered on Monday is arriving tomorrow. My sound deadening stuff is arriving today. After my video chat at 2, I'm going to tear apart my interior, at least partially, and get started on the install. I'll do the floor today and if I have time, the back wall as well. Tomorrow install carpet. Should make for a nice and quiet trip this weekend.

    Where does the line start??

I am 100% curious about how much of a difference this makes for you. You're the worst case scenario.

Which line? And I'm super curious as well.

edit: I'm going to go for a drive on the highway at 60 mph and pull a decibel reading as a baseline so I can see what the actual upgrade is.

You can get by easily with a 1/2 ton gas pickup. I trailer my camper or the 4R on the car trailer, have trailered Randy's truck on the car trailer, no issues. 2017 F-150 with the 2.7 TT ecoboost. I tuned it and put air bags in the back and it pulls just fine.

It looks very comfy. But I don't envy trying to get mud out of that interior

Well, for you or I, or any other normal person that would be a problem but we're talking about Randall here.

Well I couldn’t wait. So now it just needs to arrive and I’ll get to it. My goal of floor and back wall is very attainable, and I will save doors and headliner for next week sometime.

You're a madman. And so impatient.

I wonder if that grommet in the center/rear hump is on 3rd Gens. That would be a decent place to run some exterior wires into the cab. Like an antenna wire.

Probably! Toyota likes to go wild with their grommet placement.
