So yesterday I found out one of my factory bump stops broke off.
I noticed awhile ago one of the bump stops was starting to break/crack. I'm talking about separation form the rubber and metal mount.

I am deciding between SumoSprings and Timbren...
    What would you recommend?

I run Dakar EL095R leaf springs.
I camp a lot in the summer hauling mid-height rack, RTT, 400 lbs of camping gear.
    I rarely haul a trailer.

Jumped on the sound deadening train going around here recently. Bought the Noico stuff and in the past two days have only done the driver/passenger front doors. MAN, if you tap on the access doors then tap on the sound deadened doors it's a world of difference. Still need to do the access doors and rear wall and then depending on how much deadener I have left the floor. Didn't take any pictures but got real good up inside the doors. My hands have various cuts over them from working with the deadener in tight spaces.

For the access doors, i'm assuming the removal of the panel is the same as the front doors? Remove some screws, the seat belt anchor bolt and then just pull the panel till it pops off?

Checked my adapter harness before work this morning and three wires were incorrect, I swapped them around.
They were for the wheel controls.

Please please please....go with timbren. I have them on my truck for the rear with the ubolt flip kit. My father ended up going with sumo springs. Seriously, they were as hard as a rock and gave the worst cushioning imaginable. Take it from someone that has dealt and riden with both.

Pretty much the same. When pulling the access door trim panels off, pull top out first. The bottom of the trim panels have an "L" shaped tab that needs to be lifted out. If you pull the bottom straight out first, it's likely to break.
Welcome to the sound deadener gang! Just did mine last month with both noico products...HUGE difference!

Thanks for that tip... I tried once starting from the bottom on the access doors and they weren't budging so I gave up due to not wanting to break something. This will help!

Yeah man, it wasn't easy but once I got going I found the technique. Yeah I removed the 3rd brake light and also deleted the xm antenna on to which took about 2hrs alone lol.

So it took me about 3-4hrs from prep to finished. I'd only do a couple things differently. First washed and clay barred roof. Then test fit and cut excess vinyl. I watched a bunch of videos so I had a general idea of how to go through the steps.

I started laying from center to passenger side standing on a ladder. Starting at center working my way to the edge. Then did the back last. At one point on the driver side I had to lift the vinyl all the way back up to center to get a bubble lol. Definitely learned a lot from the install, much more confident now, considering wrapping the whole truck maybe next year.

Stock, just got her, 3rd owner, purchased at 144k for 18k (they gave me a sweet deal on my trade)
I definitely should have started by laying the center and and just a single edge - one video I had seen showed where he started off laying the whole piece but maybe he was much more experienced than I!

Best of luck on the next bit!

I was hoping to get a reply from someone that has tried both! Thanks!
Is the flip kit worth the extra $$$?

For the little extra money I'll probably go with Timbrens.
Do you think its harmful to running with only 1 bump stop?

Found a guy on eBay who hand makes them with fiberglass, then had them painted, not sure if he's still making them
