I can't leave anything well enough alone
looks like he originally said trans housing accidentally, now it is trans hose. ATF on the exhaust, broken hose from the flinging belt.

I'm thinking of going whit Steeda Heavy Duty Tensioner, Gates RPM belt (what I replaced the factor belt with a year ago).

Go with the Roush tensioner and retrofit the double bearing pulley on it if you have the resources to do so. It's an incredibly worthy mod. You have my blessing on the RPM belt.

Also, skip the tranny flush, but definitely walk from that shop. They're trying to rape your pocketbook.

My speedhut does the same. It needs to get up to a certain voltage I think 13.6 before it kicks in.

it was mostly 2 year old included work extra gas but half tank on main and no passenger. Most gear included. I do not carry a RTT so if you run that and the 37’s you could be easily higher

Oh yeah, and do yourself a favor and get an o2 sensor bung heatsink. Eliminate the heat failure variable.

I'm not seeing how/what needs to be done in terms of the retrofit. Search features isn't helping. I have access to a machine shop so I how they can help.

I’ll have to weigh mine some day. Curious if my local dump will do it for free. And no rtt for me. Just the floor jack and basic recovery stuff/tools most of the time.

They will. just drop off anything. My buddies thirds gen did that cake in at 5900 I think. Also places with a scale may hook you up if you don’t need it certified. The place I went to was def not the folks to hook you up. you can also get the cat scales app thy truckers have. You do it all via app. I think it’s $10 or something.

What's up my local friend. State Auto are good guys and do great work, but it sounds like you'll be better off in this case calling The Yota Guy. He's worked on my Supercharger as well as a lot of others and really knows his stuff, and I'm sure can take care of you for a great price too. PM me if you want more info.

PS: Geoff recently moved his shop from Provo to Midvale, like a mile down the road from State. Should be ideal for you.

I can't leave anything well enough alone
I know mine is heavier, and frankly, I'm a little afraid to weigh it. dclb, alu shell, double ladder rtt, 270 awning, drawer system, high clearance bumpers with swingouts, roofrack with stuff on it, jerrys, winch, triple battery, compressor, full steel skids, Heavy frame reinforcements and suspension goodies, long range tank, fridge, solar, etc etc. Extra water and firewood for long trips to the beach in MX.... I'm just guessing but I think with the family of 4, dog, and a beach trip I would be easily pushing 7500 or beyond. Maybe even 8K. And I haven't even installed the blower yet, Yikes.

Your prob way closer if not over 8. I was just shy of 7k with no adult passenger, half a tank of gas, some gear missing and no tent. Not as reinforced but all else is similar. All the heavy steel bumpers, BAMF steel, big ass tires, 270 awning. Dual battery 200 solar panels (2x) platform, drawer slide deal and more. With a shell but no tent. if I added the family of 4 and a dog I could easily be high 7’s. It’s likely over 7 with a full tank of gas. I did have a couple Full Jerry cans and a few gallons of water. I tired to get close enough. Main reason is to see if it’s a big cause of my slowness who I it is and for ordering some custom Deavers.
