    LOL.

You are a fluke of the universe. You have no right to be here.

Go placidly amid the noise and waste,
And remember what comfort there may be in owning a piece thereof.
Avoid quiet and passive persons, unless you are in need of sleep.
    Rotate your tires.
Speak glowingly of those greater than yourself,
And heed well their advice, even though they be turkeys.

Did you get handed a spray bottle of some liquid and get told to "go over it" with a cloth every few months?

I had some ceramic coating "professionally" applied late last fall. Had to leave it overnight to "cure". Don't recall the brand, wasn't cheap. By early spring, water didn't bead anymore. Winter around here isn't the best time to be going over stuff.

Nope, its super duper easy. Takes like 15 minutes. There is a great writeup right here on the forum!

    https://www.tacomaworld.com/threads/fender-flare-installation-on-non-flared-tacomas-tutorial.494336/

You do have to cut off the clips that go into the fenders and give them a quick sanding, but after doing it myself I'm of the opinion that the holes/clips are just there so the factory can install them in 5 seconds on a moving line.

Mind if I ask how much you paid? Just a wash and coat for me was around $500.

My first mod was the series 77 KN cold air intake. It went really smooth. I am not a good mechanic either. So by me doing this makes me more confident to to more mods. What’s the best online off road website you all use for mods? I used Extream Terrain for this KN.

Good job. You deserve a beer.

This site is the absolute best for mod info. There's also YouTube, but YT vids can be hit or miss. Watch as many as you can.

If anyone is considering buying something from Extreme Terrain, I would advise doing your homework first. A large number of their customers are none too happy.

    https://www.bbb.org/us/pa/paoli/pro...emeterraincom-0241-235994765/customer-reviews

There's a horror story in the BST forum about receiving 2 passenger-side step bars and being told, essentially, "Tough. You signed for them."

I did my truck a year ago this month. I use a booster every couple of washes. Sheds water like it was just put on, shines like crazy, and very little sticks and nothing stays. Took me about 4 hours start to finish. Clay bar'd the truck, IPA wipe down, and two passes of the ceramic coating. It seriously makes washing the truck simple. I spend more time detailing wheel wells, tires and wheels than I do washing and drying.
