Hard pass, did that in the Rubidoux River a few years ago, buried my rear diff in the soft river rock. Lesson learned the hard way

Start by perusing this thread, pretty awesome stuff. I built mine and while I do have some very basic construction knowledge it wasn't that hard. I would honestly just skip the slide out cabinets as that was by far the hardest and most expensive part.

I just installed an RCI rack and roof top tent, love it!!! Question though, i have ordered a set of total chaos bed stiffeners, should be here this weekend, can i install them with the rack and tent already on the bed?? Any thoughts out there??

I had the 2nd highest package where I got it. It was
Gold package: 4 Layers of 9H & 1 layer of Light - Lifetime Warranty
Wheel package: Wheels off package with 1 coat of Wheel & Caliper on Rims and Calipers
Windows Rain treatment: 2 Coats of Rain on all of the windows
Interior Package: 1 Coat of Leather and Textile and Plastic on all interior surfaces.
It listed for like $1750. I gave them $1500. Like I said expensive. I think over the long run it will be worth it though as I plan on keeping the truck for at least 10 more years or until I die, whichever comes first.

 

Hey just FYI, those Hitch Safes are built pretty tough, but the combination wheels are not shielded, and can be decoded very quickly with a piece of feeler gauge. I have a few un-shielded combination locks, and can decode them this way with minimal effort. It may seem obscure, and probably fairly unlikely you'll experience this, but thanks to YouTube, the knowledge is out there and accessible to all. Just thought you might want to be aware of it.
