Is anyone here running the 8100 series on their truck from Bilstein. I just purchased it from my work. ( We purchase through them so I go dealer pricing) And just want to know what i'm getting myself into install wise as well and overall upgrade on suspension. and any added info on what you're running on a 1 inch lift on the rear would be very helpful too !

Assuming the coilovers come assembled, you can swap the fronts out in under an hour easy. 3 top hat bolts and a lower bolt on each side and you're good to go! 8100 Rears are even easier.

Yes, They do come pre-assembled I called and confirmed with bilstein. Just wondering if i've someones done em and to see how easy but i'm gonna use the 2 post at our shop and do em myself over the weekend when i get em. Even though I may just end up staying late that day to take care of em. I'm just that impatient haha

Yeah exactly. But any suggestions on a good 1" lift for the rear? AAL, Blocks, OME LEAFS? Anything else ?

Blocks are fine for lighter duty applications. If you plan to carry more weight, AAl at the very least. I'd probably recommend a full-up leaf replacement like a dakar or deaver pack though, since Toyota leaf packs are woeful.

UCAs are a pain in the ass to install. Some say it’s easy but that bolt really sucks.

If you're planning on going over 2.5", def. I did it all in one go, just since I was already under there and had the rest of it out anyways.

It is a minor PITA, but if you have a pair of linemans pliers to bend some sheet metal real quick or a zip disk to cut the bolt, it really isnt a big deal.

Totally agree on that, most definitely going to be carrying more weight down the road possibly doing a rtt but definitely doing a bed rack and accessories and even some towing

Not sure about Deavers, but I do know that OME says a 3" lift on the heavy packs (ELR096) at 600 pounds constant, but it rides perfect at ~300 in the back once they've broken in a bit.

I'm just doing something slight with the set up a 2" f and 1" r cause thats what the rear shocks are rated for

You'll be fine without new UCAs. Unless you wanna ball out that is...
