I'll probably need to do this to mine. I do a lot of bouncing when I'm really going at it.

Love it! I had done the hood black but removed it. I really like yours though with the punisher logo. You’re making me think seriously about redoing my headlights also.

Need help driving from Minneapolis to black hills i started hearing a knock and felt it under my foot, drivers footwell, climbed under and couldnt find anything loose or what could have done it. Happened a few times then a couple smaller bumps and now nothing. Only thing under there is exhaust and front drive shaft. Wasnt in 4x4 so shouldn't have been turning. Any ideas? Spending the next week and a half off grid so I don't want something to go wrong out there.

so far its def made a world of difference .. before the intake piping would rub on the part where it goes through the core support a bit.. now it sits perfectly center in the hole and doesnt touch the core support

Don't rule out your front DS. If the wheels are turning, it's turning....the tail is wagging the dog.

I have no ideas on what to check, just wanted to point that out. Hope you find it.

Sure... something specific you're looking for in the side view? I'm pretty much stock TRD Sport, so there's not much special to see from the side.

Just ordered a RCI fuel tank skid plate (weird that it's cheaper than the factory one).
I already installed TRD Off-Road tank straps some time ago.

I will clarify that when painting the hood I left the insert out, in anticipation of a future light bar insert mod install.... I was concerned with rain/ wash water intrusion but have not seen any issues in about 2 year so far.

Lol I love the "I'm pretty much a stock TRD Sport..." part. It reminds me of when I was telling my girlfriend about a time in the desert and I described the scene as, "we were a bunch of Tacomas..." and she started laughing and she asked me how long I had been a truck before I was a human.

I like it! It reminds me of all the anchoring points on the Relentless Rack. How much weight does that thing support?

Jumped on the sound deadening train too. I ditched my carpet awhile ago when it got ruined and bed lined the floor and have lived with the noisy highway drive. I finally had enough so I’m doing the whole interior, and adding carpet again. I started with the floor/back wall to knock it out before a trip this weekend, and will do the doors/roof later on.

edit: for reference, that is an entire box of 36 sq ft of the kilmat (the silver Mat)

Not really today but over a stretch of some days. 12 hours of stitching due to my OCD. Pretty happy with the outcome. Not perfect but I did learn alot about sewing patterns and consistency. The cover may be a tad few degrees off center but I'm tired after 12 hours of sewing the last few days. Will readjust later!

Steering wheel is a bit thicker and feels much better driving. One of the more worthwhile mods I've completed.

Excuse any mess you may identify in the pictures, some weeks I live out of my car just to be on a job site :D

Total cost: $30 or so and typical China mail ( 2 weeks)

Great look for those of us who don't expect to land hard on a rock. Had one on my '07 and put in on my "new" '15 last month before selling the '07.

Make sure you cover the inside of the outer panels skins along with the panel you see as you remove the panel. You will definitely notice the difference when you open the access door, it will feel more solid.

I also upgraded my speakers with the Taco Tunes speakers and amps in my AC. I also added rear door speakers and it sounds great to me

For the money, it really is a good upgrade. It was fairly easy. At least until two of the window frame panel clips dropped inside the door panel. Had to gently pull the plastic away, getting nasty black gunk on me, and fish out one of the clips. The other is lost in there, but no rattles, so all is good. Always check to make sure the clip is on the part, not the panel. You would think I would know that by now :)
